Why is Bullying a monster in the Society? Those who are bullied often become bullies. “According to a 2007 study of bullying in Japan, South Africa and the United States, 72 percent of children who were physically abused by their parents become a bully, a victim of a bully or both” (Swearer). In some cases parents could cause kids to be bullies, victims, or both without noticing that they are doing so. Bullying is “aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance” (“Bullying Definition”). Bullying could be found in multiple places, but most likely it can be found in school.
