Cats are very important to me. They get along with me, and I get along with them. Cats are empaths, a being or creature which can understand and connect with other people's emotions. If you are sad, most cats will attempt to cheer you up, as they feel it themselves. Whenever a cat feels bad, many people will try to help it, as they transmit their emotions to others. They have extremely powerful senses able to detect the smallest changes in heartbeat or temperature, giving them the ability to detect fatal illness while at home, and without having a professional healthcare official on scene. There have been cases of cats acting strangely around people right before heart attacks or strokes. Cats also provide exercise, entertainment and fun.
An animal can be the best thing to happen to a person. As the old saying goes: a dog is a man's’ best friend. People share their homes with their furry friends and gain relationships that are remembered until, perhaps, the rest of their days- just like an old friend. In Bilger’s article, he mentions the relationship between Lady, the sick cat, and her owners, Karen and Shawn Levering, and why the couple was so willing to give up so much for her. “If they were willing to go this far for a cat, it was partly out of a sense of misfortune. But mostly it was a matter of love” (Bilger, part 1, paragraph
“I dont know what i would have done without the cats” she said. “Shawn was working long hours and the pain was so extreme sometimes that i would just go to the bathroom and cry In the Last Meow Karen levering , co-owner of the cat along with Shawn, she explaind that even through tough times in karens life Lady, the cat gave her simple joy and was there to just comfort and lay down with her. Its the special attachment to pets that attracts us to wanting to spend more. Also to try to keep them alive as much as we can because in our own selfish needs , we want them alive to enjoy more simpke moments to guve us
They give you a feeling of purpose which can be crucial when you are feeling down and overwhelmed. By caring for your pet, it allows you to focus on something other than yourself.
The changes and the growth that cats make through their experiences allows them to advance and learn from said experiences. The lives and
Along with similiarties, there are many differences between the two as well. The first difference many people notice or have to take in account is the way cats behave vs dogs. Cats are known to be very independent. They don’t need constant attention and love like most dogs do. Elizabeth Allen (2015) states, “The results of the study reveal that while cats might prefer to interact with their owner, they do not rely on them for reassurance when in an unfamiliar environment, and the researchers believe this is because of the nature of the species as a largely independent and solitary hunter.” This study shows that although most cats like interactions with their owner they do not need them.
I have heard the old saying that dogs are man’s best friend. I don’t know much about dogs, but I do know a lot about cats. I have had a cat as a pet for at least 30 years. They are wonderful and I know I will always have one in my life. I think cats make the perfect pet because they are self sufficient, intelligent, and good companions.
Animals can Change Our Lives Changes in our world is normal, sometimes they can make a big change. Pets can change our lives because of many reasons. New experiences can make a change because of the way they help you. Sometimes it is a negative or a positive change. Animals are loving, caring, and cute.
“Any glimpse into the life of an animal quickens our own and makes it so much the larger and better in every way.” This shows that when people own pets they have a better experience in life. This means if people own a pet that pet can have a better life along with the human. Animals can improve Peopleś lives by giving love and companionship, Improving Peopleś health, and improving their emotional state.
They are also terribly ungrateful, showing no thankfulness whatsoever if they are given special treatment of some sort. They just generally assume that any special treatment is nothing more than what they deserve. Cats are overly independent as well, and enjoy pretending that they don’t need you or anyone else. Cats should definitely not be considered your best friend.
Some reasons being that they serve as a social support during difficult times, such as the loss of a loved one. Cats have been shown to help people get over their loss more quickly and relieve physical symptoms of pain, such as crying.
Qureshi also found another thing and that Spector in the same article explains “As it turns out, a cat's purr ranges between 25 and 140 Hertz, which matches the frequency that has been shown in humans to produce the most therapeutic benefits.” This can help a lot of mental problems that we as people are affected with now days such as depression with the sadness we feel the cat can help the person to feel
pets can make you happy when you are sad or be with you in the worst times.
Friends like, pets, can help us get through tough times. Animals can change your perspective of how you look at the world. Every new experience can make a person change; sometimes the change is positive, other times it is negative; either way, there is no avoiding change. Animals are brave, kind, and gentle.
Another difference between cats and dogs is their social interactions. Dogs are more of pack animals. Members of their pack or family are very critical to them. They look for a
On the other hand, there are some great differences between cats and dogs. The first difference that can be easy to notice is that dogs are pack animal and cats are more of lone. As a pack animal, dogs like a social and gregarious life. They love company; they will never feel bored if one spends a lot of time with them. They do not like being isolated out of community; generally, they like to follow their owner to wherever. In contrast, a cat is a solitary creature, hunting alone. Cat loves to spend lots of time alone, like sleeping in the warm sunlight by itself, solitary wail, and so on.
