Hathor was well known as the goddess of the sky, love, fertility, music, and dance. Hathor was also well known as a mother goddess, who created and maintained all life on Earth. She also provided food to the dead in the underworld and anyone who carried her clothing, would have a safe journey to the underworld. She is usually portrayed as a woman with a cow head and horns and a sun plate in between her horns. Hathor had more interesting facts butt that is just some of them.
If the Egyptians didn't have Hathor, the Egyptians wouldn't have love and nobody would love each other and nobody would be married. If they didn't have a sky the egyptians wouldn't have rain and without rain they couldn't have anything to water their crops and drink. If they didn't have fertility, nobody would be born or even alive. If they didn't have music or dance some people wouldn't be able to talk, because people started talking with music, and dance. That is only some of the reasons Hathor was important.

Hatshepsut was the first female Egyptian pharaoh. She was regarded as one of the most successful female pharaohs; however, she had many weaknesses. Hatshepsut made many contributions to the Egyptians. There are many reasons why she was regarded as one of the most famous pharaohs.
Hatshepsut was the second female Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. She ruled nearly 3,500 years ago from 1505 BCE for twenty two years. She was the wife of Thutmose II who was the Pharaoh before her, and the stepmother of Thutmose III who succeeded her. When Thutmose II died Thutmose III was too young to rule, so Hatshepsut was made temporary ruler, however she was able to transform herself into a Pharaoh. Hatshepsut was a successful pharaoh because she used religion and art to legitimize her rule and promoted economic prosperity.
Hatshepsut is the female ruler who made the biggest impact on ancient civilization. She was the third female leader in Egypt for three thousand years. She also was the longest reigning female leader. Hatshepsut was the of Pharaoh, Thutmose I, and Aahme. She was married to her half brother and pharoah after her father, Thutmose II. They had a son named Thutmose III. She had two other brothers who died before she became pharoah. After her husband died in mid-ruling, their son was too young to take the throne so Hatsheput had to became the stand-in pharoah, also known as his dowager, until he was old enough to claim the throne. Hatshepsut left her impact on the world by defying the concept of male superiority, securing herself into the pharoah
Hatshepsut is considered one of the most successful Pharaohs in Egypt. And to add to that amazing fact, she is a women. She reigned for more than 20 years. I find Hatshepsut to be very interesting because although she was queen and then Pharaoh for 20 years, not much is known about her. Many archaeologists did not even know about her existence until about 1822.
Queen Hatshepsut was an Egyptian pharaoh whose rule in Egypt was known as a time of peace and prosperity. She established foreign trade relationships with other countries making Egypt wealthier and constructed many monuments, buildings and statues of herself. After 22 years as pharaoh she died, but she is still known as the most accomplished pharaoh.
Hatshepsut was the daughter of king Thutmose I, the fourth king of the eighteenth dynasty of Egypt. After her father
Hatshepsut was born around 15th century B.C., she is the daughter of Tuthmose the first and his wife, Aahmes. When king Tuthmose I died, queen Aahmes married her half-brother, King Tuthmose II. King Tuthmose II died after a short rule and the throne was supposed to be passed down to his son Tuthmose III but he was considered far too young to rule so Hatshepsut ruled in his stead as a regent. Information about Hatshepsut varied a bit, some articles speculated Hatshepsut was the 4th female pharaoh while others say she was the 6th. But without a doubt she was considered one of the greatest pharaohs of all time, even amongst the male counterparts. As a pharaoh, Hatshepsut did things like reestablishing trade routes that has been long lost due to past invaders. By doing this, Hatshepsut was able to turn the economy around and lead Egypt into a period of wealth and prosperous trade. Her allowing an expedition to the land of Punt also wielded excellent results. In total she sent 5 ships accommodating 210 sailors and 30 rowers most likely slaves. They bought back 31 live myrrh tree roots and were the first recorded attempt to plant foreign
During her reign she started a building program to repair the damage done to the temples from the Hyksos. A major difference between Hatshepsut and other leaders of Egypt, was her gender. Hatshepsut was the first female to reign and claimed that she was chosen by the Egyptian god Amun-Ra. She tried to prove her effectiveness by dressing like a man and growing a beard, however, still referred to herself as the “female falcon.”
They also worshipped some other gods such as Thunder, the god of weather, who was an important deity. He was pictured as a man with a war club and a sling in the other hand. Thunder and lightning came from the sling and he drew rain from the Milky Way. Farmers worshipped the Earth Mother and fishermen worshipped that Mother Sea.
“The technology introduced by the Hyksos domination provided the Egyptians with the incentive and the means towards world expansion and so laid the foundations and to a great extent determined the character of the New Kingdom” (Bradley)
Student athletes have been disrespected their whole career, even though College athletic is considered a money maker of a business, the athletes don’t even get paid, some say it is because paying them will reduce the amount of competitiveness, some say they aren’t employees so they shouldn’t get paid. Even the full scholarships they are getting has flaws. Overall the colleges are just too greedy.
Isis was known to be the goddess of fertility and motherhood. : The book of Job is known as an anonymously written book, meaning that no one is sure of the author. Some say it could be Job, Elihu, or a person involved in Jobs life, and it is said that this person is certainly an Israelite. There are many different ideas of when Job was written, but the roundabout date that has been estimated by occurrences in the scripture, it is believed to have been written around 1700 – 2100 B.C.. The main characters listed in Job are Job, Eliphaz, Bildad, Zophar, Dinah, and Sitidos. This book is one of the few wisdom and poetic books and is narrative, it tells the story of Job and how strong his faith is despite the trials and tribulations he deals with in his life. It shows that without even the slightest answer to why from God, he continues to trust him. The purpose of Job is showing the power of faith, God testing Jobs’ faith and Job complying. The theme is showing that even a very righteous and blessed man
One of the most renowned paintings around the world, Starry Night, created by none other than Vincent van Gogh, inspired many artists to produce a form of artwork that somehow relates back to the actual painting itself. No matter what form of art, Starry Night is a major influence on the works of many. The painting, Starry Night, connects to “The Starry Night” by Anne Sexton and the song “Vincent” by Don McLean because of the imagery and tone being used in these pieces of art. In the painting, poem, and song, imagery is being expressed to show the importance of the contrasting colors.
