The Renaissance era was the bridge between the Middle Ages and modern history from the fourteenth to the seventeenth century in Europe where they saw a large increase in the people concerned in classical learning and the values of ancient Greece and Rome.

Leonardo da Vinci is known as the “Renaissance man” because his vast curiosity fuelled his many inventions. As an artist he painted the Last Supper and the Mona Lisa which are astounding works and his most famous, as an engineer he was ahead of his time as he conceptualized the helicopter, tank, calculator and focused on solar energy.
