Writing is an amazing way to communicate, express ideas, and convince others of how the writer is feeling. For some, writing might be a requirement, fun, relaxing, a chore. Whatever it may be, writing is influential, for the writer and the reader. I have never been a fan of writing a school paper because of their structure, tediousness, and how they are graded. I love reading and writing freely without limits or judgments, but what I have discovered, is that there are always limits and judgments from readers. Nevertheless, writing is a great way to express feelings and thoughts. Two years ago, my mom was severely burned and had to be hospitalized. I was very upset about this and it caused me to have depression, anxiety, PTSD, as well as some
Writing is a skill that many authors use to show their style or qualities. Writing is such a great experience and it allows you to tell stories, or speak your opinions. It gives you opportunities to speak up and show your worth. There is two important steps for writing, one is to always think positive, and two is always believe in what you have to say. Many people struggle with writing at times and that's because they haven't thought out their ideas all the way or showed their full potential yet. It takes time to become a good writer.
Writing isn’t for everyone, yet the number of people writing in this exact moment is pretty monstrous if you google it. Writing has basically been there for me since I was born, it was there when they wrote my birth certificate, when i was learning how to write my name, when i wrote my first essay, taking the STAAR tests, practicing for the AP test, to my first writing assignment for college. People are gifted with creating such rich, breathtaking, emotional, and deep work that last for generations and generations (not me), but writing has not always been a friend to me. The process of writing is not just write and your done, no you need to take time and let your ideas gush out (duh you already knew that) but also to edit and revise to make those final drafts. Writing can be a huge pain in the buttocks (ass), but it isn 't that bad. Here are some of my issues and strengths about writing and my take on it.
Writing is about telling your story to the world and changing the perspective of how things appear to you. Writing is about sharing your voice with the world one word at a time. It’s about creating your own opinion statement with just the right amount of detail. All writers have something they want to say, and everyone is a writer. The most important thing you should always remember as a writer is believing in yourself. If you can believe in your writing, then you can achieve the impossible and know this is a paper worth turning in.
There are many different types and forms of writing that are out there to do. Some examples are persuavive and informative essays, comic strpis, book reviews, autobiograyphy, lettters, opioins, texting and many many more. Most people don't realize that they do some type of writing in some form almost everyday of their lives. Although I don’t seem like I do it that often; I believe that writing is a very critical skill to know and apply because it will help you significantly for the future of your life. Marquette University says” Writing is the
Writing and reading for me started really young with me. I was learning to read and write before I was 2. My mom was teaching me and I had a Phonex person come to my house and would help. I was a year younger than almost everybody else in my kindergarten class. I was able to go into school younger because I scored high enough on a test I had to take. I was always reading books when I could when I was young which is why I was able to read bigger words than most kids my age could. I was able to read at a 4th grade level when I was in 1st grade. This all fell in place because my dad was always telling me to read and write when I had free time if I wanted to be better than everybody. When I was younger I always trying to be better
four, my grandmother began teaching me the basics of reading and how to write the alphabet. The hours spent working with my grandmother influenced the love I have for literature. Although I have a passion for reading and writing, I feel this passion slowly fading with age. As I get older, I realize that reading does not seem as enjoyable as it used to be for me. Reading and writing has influenced my life in a thankful, a joyful, but also a slightly negative way.
Writing to me has alwyas been that subject that i want to just get up and run away from. To me numbers have always and will always make more sense to me then the teqniuqe of writing a paper. My entire highschool career I despised writing as i said but reading this was very interesting to me. I never had someone show me the correct way to write especiialy in a satirical tone. That is what made this article fun and enjoyable to read. When he said not to ramble on he simply stated "i won't ramble on about that". He makes it very clear what the writer and reader is to expect when riding. One thing i learned about writing is that ever person on this planet has a way he or she writes. It may be similar but there is always something about you that
For me, this is the hard part. Starting out an essay that focuses on one topic, or something that I’m not particularly fond of. That’s one thing I really dislike about English, being limited on the topic, or being assigned a topic that you have to write specifically about. Writing is somewhat boring to me, and I don’t exactly know why, but starting it out feels almost impossible to me a lot of the time. Sometimes, writing is fun for me though. Once in a while when I write, I feel like I’m alone, everything drowns out, like smells and sounds. But when writing things, I prefer to try to challenge myself and continuously try to improve myself, the same with reading.
I do not think of myself as a very good writer. I feel that my writing is always scrambled, and doesn’t quite flow like it should. I do like to write however, if the subject interests me. I would much rather write about a topic that I know a lot about, and care about. If I was to write a paper about dragons, it most likely would not be written very well because I don’t care about that subject. I like to write because it is something that I think can be fun. It also is a great way to express yourself in words.
The author, David Smith argued that it is important for students that are science majors to become effective writers because “writing for a broad audience honed my research writing skills, allowing me to make my results and conclusions more accessible, relevant, and impactful, which arguably did help advance my career.” By practicing writing papers that were meant for larger audiences than just a student’s professor or classmates, the student is inevitably being taught writing skills that will transcend into all other areas of their study. When they write short stories, they are learning how to create flow and intrigue in their writing, that can also be used for their results and conclusions for research papers. Even without intentionally
Ever since I remember, I have always enjoyed writing. The fact that I can be able to put together a paper and have someone get my idea just with the first paragraph is mind blowing. Sometimes I can’t express myself through speaking so writing down my thoughts on paper has always been my therapy but also an important thing in my everyday life.
When I was younger, I’ve always had a creative mind when it came to free writing, but reading had influenced my writing. When reading fictional stories this had developed my imagination immensely because of how creative authors can be with their stories and I’ve always thought outside the box. The role of reading and writing has become a huge impact in my life. The importance in my education is to have knowledge in what you write and read as you get older these two areas tend to have more complex skills divided up into different sections.
For the entirety of my life, I have been predisposed to writing papers and reading novels all in the name of a letter grade, its name being A. In fact, I have soley read and wrote in life only because it is a requirement in my education. Reading and writing is essential in everyone’s life and I am extremely blessed to have had and still have helpful, intelligent, and passionate teachers to help me through one of my weaknesses in my education and life in general.
Writing is one of the most important skills you can have in life. Being able to construct high-quality papers, among other things, is key. Not only to get a point across, but to accurately give information, or some just like to do it for fun. I write so that people can easily understand what the point is that I'm trying to get across. There are so many different forms of writing that people can utilize however they want to, whether it's for research purposes or for creative purposes. Being able to write well is a skill that can be utilized daily and can is very beneficial whether you have to write something for school, to write a resume and to type something up for a job.
I know that writing takes a lot of time to organize and you just don’t get it overnight, no matter how many hours you practice. It take a lot of skills to become good as someone who writes a novel, that’s why you need an important person or author that you like who can help you become a better writer. The grade I think I deserve in this class is a B- because I know I don’t do a lot of participating, my work take a lot of skills to read because nobody have ever taught me to write and I feel my writing is getting better I just need a little push, and I have turned in all my work.
