Ponyboy was talking about last night this is what Johnny said “shut up about last night I killed a kid last night. He probably didn't like bob. Because it wasn't self defense because he wasn't drowning ponyboy it was David. Johnny committed murder. Johnny didn't mean to kill him because he was scared. Also they were drowning ponyboy and Johnny knew they were going to kill him or beat him up so I think that's why he killed bob.
