Why Kids Should Not Be Allowed To Have Phones In School

The right age that kids should have a cellphone is 13 ,14,15,`16,17,18 because kids need phones to call when something is happen or when you need something . when you are young you do not need a phone becaues you will try to call 911 or anyboby so that why littel kids do not need cell phone when they are littel and when you are littel you dont need a phone any way.

Failure to pay attention. Lack of honesty. Poor grades. These are some outcomes of allowing cellphones in class. Eight ball or word cookies may end up causing you to fail or miss an assignment. Students should not be allowed to have and use their cellphones because of inequality, distractions, and dishonesty.

Phones today are becoming more accessible to everyone, especially teens. As phones become more popular, they are introducing phones with much more advanced technology. People today can use their phones for way more than just calling and texting one other. Now people use phones to not only connect with others through social media, but to play games, search the web, and take pictures. Although phones have many valuable uses and students enjoy connecting with each other through social media, phones should not be allowed in school.

I think phones should not be allowed at school. Kids should not have their phones at school because people use them to spread rumors and misinformation.

Most schools do not allow the use of cell phones in school or in class, so the school feels like changing their policy of cell phone use might be a bad idea. Students could take advantage or miss use the privilege of phones in class. There will always be students who act out in class, but the school must discipline those who do and reward those who do not.

Tap Tap, Tap. Students are constantly using cellphones in class when they should be paying attention to important materials in class. Some schools have banned cell phones. Some schools are taking advantage of cell phones and trying to them to open new possibilities for new learning experience. A cell phone is a piece of technology that can have a positive and negative effect. For example you can use it find out what you need to study. It depends on the user. Cell phones can also be used to cheat and then you wouldn’t be learning anything, except how to cheat. Do you really think that we should allow these with children that don’t know how to use them correctly? I wouldn’t. Although cell phones can open new opportunities to learning, we can not assume that students will use them for academic reasons. Therefore, cell phones are not the best thing to have in school, they shouldn't be allowed in school to ensure a good environment for the future generations of mankind. The negative effects from cell phones can distract kids from the subject they are learning in school, reduce the amount of respect students show teachers, and make schools less empathetic. The only thing that schools will get from allowing cellphones in class is nothing but trouble.

Imagine a school in which cell phones were not allowed on campus. How would the children contact their parents in the case of an emergency? I think cell phones should be aloud at school because of emergencies and when you need to get ahold of someone you have a cell phone. Should cellphones be allowed in school? Well, this is a controversial topic. There's two sides to this argument and many parents and teachers demonize cell phone usage in school, parents complaint to teachers to ban cellphones, that their kid is using his phone too much and the teachers blindly follow suit. Without even looking at the advantages of having cellphones, for the sake of their jobs they just put the ban. This punishment hurts even those who can use their phones responsibly. Why should the people who can control themselves have to be punished because their are people who can't. After doing my research I’ve come up with 3 strong reasons as to why phones should be allowed in school. Now, I already know me ranting about cell phones won't have any influence over this decision of the district, the message will just fall into deaf ears. Here we go anyway, the first reason as to why phones should be allowed is that they prepare students for a real world job. My agurment writing is that kids in school should be able to have their phones. I have a few reasons why we should have our phones in class. One reason is for making videos/recording experiments. If students can’t have their phones the how can they record an experiment, if they can’t record then they can’t get a grade on the experiment. Which makes us students suffer for not being able to have our phones.

One reason that kids should be able to bring phones to class and use them in case of an emergency happens or a school shooter pops up out of nowhere. Well what I and many others are trying to say is that if you want to be safe or in case you have a medical problem and you need to call you doctor you will need to have your phone on you . Sometimes when you go on a field trip and you need to have it because you parent/guardian wants you too.
