I chose to attend Hallahan High because I want new experiences. Besides academics and clubs which was a big part in choosing to go to hh, I wanted to go to do and see new things.
I have lived in chestnut hill my entire life. My travels from there don't go far, at least without my family. I have only really gone as far as Plymouth meeting but I need to see new things. I need to learn how to travel, using trains and buses, and to interact with more people how are different from me.
I would love to experience more places and things like cultural parades and marches just like the ones near hallahan. Learning to travel on my own and finding my own path is one of the main reasons I want to go to hallahan.
Another reason i wanted to attend
Being a student at Selma High School, I continued to stay out of trouble and remain focused. Also, I decided to become a member of SGA (Student Government Association).Being a member of SGA I knew that this would be an opportunity for me to stay out of trouble and focus on my schoolwork. As I continued being a member of SGA, I enjoyed helping others and putting my ideas in activities. Another thing that I did while being in SGA, was that I ran for secretary. The secretary makes sure that everyone is on time and in order.
Two colleges I would like to attend is High Point University and UNC Pembroke. I would like to attend High Point because it is near both Winston-Salem and Greensboro. UNC Pembroke is also a great option to attend to because I noticed that the campus is closed off which will help in staying focus but it’s not as close to the city. My academic interest is in natural science involving biology but also math. My social interests is doing activities in the city in order to have a separation from campus life.
It feels like everyday I meet people who ask me what college I want to attend. I give them the usual list of colleges I wish to apply to, but when Hofstra University comes up, people ask me, “why do you want to apply to Hofstra University?” I say there are infinite reasons why I wish to go to Hofstra. The number one reason being that it is really close to home. Hofstra is an excellent school - one of the best schools in New York. Hofstra has over a 100 distinct majors and minors to choose from ranging from Biology to Engineering to American Studies. I plan to major in Biology, and Hofstra is the best for my major because it has resources to offer its students giving them hands on experiences. Being an AP student, I love to take arduous classes
Why did I choose to New Tech? There were lots of things about New Tech that stood out to me. New Tech was not like a normal school, and I was ready for a change. New Tech is a project based learning school, which is learning though projects instead of lectures. Everything is technology based. Class sizes are less than 20 students. The school feels like a family. I saw this right when I stepped on the campus. The normal high school felt overwhelming and I knew that I would be more successful at New Tech rather than Coppell High School.
I want to attend Archbishop Mitty because initially it felt like the right place for me. From the day I took the tour and attended the High School Information Night, I knew something felt good and I wanted to explore it more. The excitement in the eyes of the students presenting, the joy they described and the opportunities available to them was something I could not stop thinking about. Coming from a small middle school, I wanted more.
Ever since my sister attended Troy University and told me about all the superior activities Troy has to offer, I have wanted to attend this college. Troy has an outstanding nursing program, and that is the career field I plan on going into prior graduation. I have always wanted to specialize in neonatal nursing with sick babies. Troy also has some awesome sororities at their school I am interested in being a part of. Alpha Gamma Delta is the sorority I am most interested in. They strive to achieve academic excellence and they help out their school as much as they can. Lastly, Troy has a very beautiful, clean, and safe campus. Feeling safe while walking around your college is a very important factor to me.
The reason I would want to attend Clark Magnet High School is because I believe Clark will help me set up for college, universities and jobs in the future. Clark has a great technology program and I believe it will help me exceed in my career choice. Clark has better teachers, smaller campus, great staff, more security, and more learning tools for anyone who wants to major in math/science careers. I made the decision of applying to Clark because I know Clark will prepare me better for the future. My sister went to Clark too and she loved it, college is easier for her and now she's excelling and has straight A's. I would want to go to a high school knowing that they will help me prepare for the future rather than being worried about what is
There are several reasons why I would want to attend Massanutten Regional Governor's School. One would be that the school would expose me to a wide range of people who have their own ways of doing things. Another purpose for attending governor's school would be the classes that this specific school offers. In other words, these are not the average day-to-day classes that most students would take. My third and final motive would be the challenging experience. Doing something that is challenging has never really stopped me in life. It has only made me wanting more, even when I have failed.
Savannah: For many reasons, but primarily because I really enjoy adjusting people whenever they are going through major changes, and I know that the freshman are obviously, well, freshman year is full of a lot of major changes and it can be very scary, but it is also very exciting so I really wanted to play a part in how people adjust and how people become a part of this university.
Why I Want to Attend LaSalle Ever since I was a young child, I have always wanted to attend LaSalle for high school. As I have spent more time on campus at LaSalle and learned more about it, my affection towards the school grew. It has become a place I can certainly picture myself for the next four years. Even though I have seen other schools, nothing has compared to LaSalle in my eyes.
Why do I want to go to North Broward Prep? There are many reasons why. First off I would want to go for the great hockey program. I want to get better, and play as good as I can play. I would also become fit as I play. There is also gym opportunities which I would enjoy. I also would like to go to NBPS because it's a great school, I would love to get a scholarship to a college to help my parents out. I want to get a great education, and for my knowledge to increase. I am going into the boarding program, therefore, I would like to have a lot of fun to make great memories.
There are a multitude of reasons I want to attend Virginia Tech, but being reduced to five, I would have to choose the college atmosphere as my top reason. I would love to participate in and enjoy Virginia Tech’s massive football games that are full of life and excitement. The school spirit would truly enhance my experience around the campus and in my social life as well. The second reason is because I want to major in an engineering field, and Virginia Tech is a stellar school for this aspiration. The college’s prestigious ranking in engineering fields is more than enough to convince me to attend. Another reason I want to attend Virginia Tech is because it is my ambition to genuinely love my career path, and I think Virginia Tech is an ideal
I choose to attend the University of Florida for the culture of community that exists on the campus. The University of Florida has always been a school that wants its students to succeed, but what is the most interesting aspect is that the students push each other together to achieve their goals. We live in a society where it is a "Man vs Man" world and that only one can succeed. Here at the University of Florida, we challenge those social norms and try to create a pathway that fits for everyone. Here, we just don't have dreams, because as gators, we make those dreams plans and those plans into reality. Being able to accomplish or do something that makes your life fulfilling is what made me want to come to the University of Florida and continue to give back to the place that gave me the chance to improve myself and help others improve too.
There are many reasons why I would want to go on this HBCU college tour.
I wish to attend Carmen High School for the 100 percent college acceptance rate for seniors. At Carmen you have to work things you want to do after high school. You have to apply to five colleges to graduate from Carmen. That help me in the future to want to go beyond a high school degree and work where you want after you finish Carmen High School Of Science and Technology. They take seniors to go and tour colleges so they get the feel of what they have to do and they get a look at what college is all about and they don’t just have to sit and talk about it in a classroom.
