Why Shouldn T School Uniforms Have A Choice?

The argument between to have or not have school uniforms has been an ongoing dispute ever since the use of them. I have first-hand experience of having school uniforms and having no school uniforms. I strongly believe that school uniforms are beneficial to an individual’s school success/experience.

School uniforms are common for some schools in the world. But other schools give kids their freedom.I believe school uniforms should not be permitted for schools and here are some reasons why.

At school should students have to have school uniforms? If you asked me then I would say no way to School uniforms, The uniforms look like crap or the uniforms don’t feel very good and everybody would make fun of you and think less of your school.

With gang activity, strict dress codes, and bullying becoming more relevant, the idea of school uniforms crosses the mind of many school districts across the country. Even though it may stop students from expressing themselves it would make it easier for staff members to enforce these strict dress codes, reduce the amount of bullying, and overall make schools easier. Which is why schools should have uniforms.

Kids shouldn't have to wake up in the morning and have to put on a boring school uniform kids should have the freedom to wear what they please to school .

School dress codes have become a very large issue,though it always has been, but now that students have been protesting against their school's dress code there have been many more problems that are surfacing between the school district and the students. School dress codes are taking away the purpose of school, students come to learn, and to be educated, but instead are forced to change their clothing because it doesn’t fit the school dress code. The dress code solely takes away students creativity and their right to explore with clothing. Imagine going through a stroll in the park and seeing a child being tormented for something they simply can't control. Imagine what that child could be doing to themselves or will do to themselves if it continued. Just think of all the problems at home on top of them to, how much their parents have to sacrifice for them to even go to school. But on top of that  having to pay for more cost including uniforms. These additional cost and all the school expenses putting them over the brink of poor.This is why there should not be uniforms in schools

School these days have dress codes and it’s one of the biggest complication for students face today. Students are not allowed to wear holes in there pants, heels above four inches and dresses above knees. students dislike their school because of these regulation . They choose not to get their work done, and fail tests because teachers send them to the office.

Some of the best days in life are spent with good friends having fun at the mall. There is nothing better than shopping for pants, shorts, dresses, shoes, and tops! A main solution brought up to end this debate is enforcing a uniform policy. There has been a significant benefit with schools who enforce this type of policy. One relating to a sociological viewpoint is the Labeling Theory. The way a student chooses to dress can affect how a teacher might view and treat a student. If a student is dressed poorly, a teacher might view them as delinquent and will fail tests or cause problems in the classroom. Therefore, the poorly dresses student will start acting this way and flunk out of school and start fitting into their label assigned to them. Then on the other hand, you have a well-dressed student that will be viewed as an exceptional leader that does all their homework and always comes to class. In summary, schools should not have uniforms. They do not allow students to express themselves. Also, they teach conformity over individuality. In addition to being useless in schools, they do not improve attendance, academic preparedness, or test results. Really, they do not improve anything. As aforementioned, uniforms are very beneficial for a multitude of reasons. The first being how dress code issues are completely eliminated through uniforms. I mean, even here uniforms and dress code issues have been brought up a ton! I was in honors civics last trimester and we had to do an issue project about problems at this school, and how we could fix it. We had to present these things in front of Mr.Farley and a couple school administrators. Something that was majorly brought up was dress code, and how unfair it is between the genders. Think about that! Even here dress code is a big problem, and if it’s an issue here, then imagine how bad it must be at some other schools.

School uniforms can make life also easier for the parents. Some parents might struggle with money and with having uniforms it can make it easier on the parents because they don’t need to buy as much clothes, they can just keep washing them and reusing them. Majority of all private schools have school uniforms and it would be a good idea to just make all schools that way. Another pro to school uniforms is if there was an intruder or someone that does not belong to that school you will be able to tell easily. The common argument against uniforms is that they limit self expression but there are other ways you can express yourself. Not only can you express yourself in your personality but you can join other clubs to be involved and express yourself in them. With uniforms there is different options on what style/brand/color you would like to wear it doesn’t just limit you to one color and style.
