August 15, 1945, the Second World War ended with Japan’s unconditional surrender, however, the world did not restore peace. US-led Capitalist Camp and Soviet Union-led Communist Camp started the confrontation after the Second World War. People named the confrontation of Cold War. During the Cold War, few large-scale wars and armed conflicts still broke out although people call it Cold War then the Korea War is one of these wars.
Korea was a vassal state of China in the northeast of Asia and the whole Korea Peninsula used to be a buffer zone between Japan and China. In 1895, China was defeat by Japan in the first Sino-Japan war and Korea was independent in 1897 as an article of Treaty of Shimonoseki, however, Japan annexed Korea Peninsula in …show more content…

For the North Korea, South Korea was not unified by Kim Il-sung, on the other hand, it is also a pity that the United Nation Army didn’t destroy North Korea for South Korea. For the United States, the initial objective that saving South Korea has achieved, however, the strategic objective of occupying the whole Korea did not achieve. It means the United States’ attempt to break the Communist camp failed. For China, a large number of Chinese soldiers fell in battle, however, China’s almost same to the United States that its initial objective of saving North Korea has achieved then the strategic objective of expelling Capitalist camp force from East Asia mainland.
