Preface This paper is meant to discuss and back up with fact how strict gun control laws reduce criminal activity, irrational shooting and schools shooting incidence. I will also briefly address a possible middle ground for gun laws as well as alternative measures which may be taken in order to reduce crime without infringing on an American citizen’s constitutional rights. Gun control debate is one that has been around for a long time. Given that it has a population of about 26.3 million people, with about 11 million gun populations. One can say that Texas residents, old or young, sane or with mental problems, has access to gun. Bizarrely, two Texas school districts have adopted policies allowing teachers and faculty to carry guns on school grounds. Three districts allow guns in schools.
