Why We Shouldn T Have Phones In Elementary School

Do you want kids to post pictures of teachers online? Do you want kids to text their mom to come get them? Do you want kids to take their phones to the bathroom? The answer is no. Phones should not be allowed in 10th period because of social media, taking advantage of using it anywhere , and texting.

My agurment writing is that kids in school should be able to have their phones. I have a few reasons why we should have our phones in class. One reason is for making videos/recording experiments. If students can’t have their phones the how can they record an experiment, if they can’t record then they can’t get a grade on the experiment. Which makes us students suffer for not being able to have our phones.

It has became very common for kids to have phones. There are young kids that rely on having a phone around to have fun. Teenagers never put their phones down. Students should not be allowed to have phones in elementary and high school.

Most schools do not allow the use of cell phones in school or in class, so the school feels like changing their policy of cell phone use might be a bad idea. Students could take advantage or miss use the privilege of phones in class. There will always be students who act out in class, but the school must discipline those who do and reward those who do not.

One reason why we should have our phones at school is because some teachers would say “kids will text each other during a test.” But all the teachers have to do is take the phones away during the test is going on, and when the test is over then the teachers can give you your phone back. Some parents believe that children in elementary school should have smartphones in class if it will help, whereas some believe that they should not because it will just be a distraction.
