Is everyone pressuring you to go to college right out of high school? Well news flash, you don’t need to go to college right out of high school so be successful and make a lot of money! There are a lot of people who are very successful and they either: didn’t go to college at all, or went to college and realized it wasn’t for them and dropped out. There are a few reasons you should not go to college: You don’t need college to be successful, you will save a lot of money, and you can go to the work force. You do not need to got to college right out of high school to be successful and make money. In Steve Job’s speech at the 2005 Harvard Graduation, he says that he “never graduated college” and “ dropped out after the first semester.” Steve Job’s made his way without college, he just worked with the right people and he did things for himself and didn’t rely on anyone else. Now he was one of the most successful people creating the IPhone. He said, “this is the closest he has ever been to a college graduation.” There are also other reasons too. …show more content…

College cost a lot of money and by not going you will be saving a lot of money. For example if you go to college to become a nurse then you get a good paying job out of college that's all good but you actually won’t be making much because you will have all those student loans to pay off and on top of that you will have to pay you bills and taxes and food etc. that you will not be making much at all. In the article “Should You Skip Colleges to Save Money” it states, “According to the Department of Education, the average cost of tuition, room and board at a four-year college is $20,986 annually. At a community college or trade school the annual cost averages $8,451, and because those programs only require two years of study, there is an average savings of $67,482.” By not going to college you would be saving all that
