I have a complaint on the centers rules, I feel like we should be able to go off campus sometimes because it’s really stressful to me and everybody else staying on campus. The rec trip just isn’t enough only amount of people can go and it’s also based on scores. I would like for you to change that. I can do a petition and a vote to see how many people would like to go off campus sometimes. There can be a rules, safety and regulations for that. I would be grateful to see the change in that you can make.
When paying large amounts of money, most people like to get the most out of what they pay for. Students all across the country pay thousands of dollars to live on campus housing in educational institutions. At Valdosta State University, there are nine residential halls on campus with most of them being freshman dorms. The on-campus housing follows a strict policy that states only two people can be checked in per student. Many students agree that there should be more than two people who are allowed to check in at any of the given halls here on campus. The dorms should allow at least four people to be checked in at a time by each resident student. There could be a cap to the capacity at four, but that is a reasonable number as to how many people can come hangout in each dorm.
People may say that we don’t need an open campus that it will cause nothing but problems from kid not coming back afterwards to kids doing illegal things during the time off, and that there would be liability issues. If parents didn’t want there child to leave. These issues can be addressed.
To begin, the high school principles and the school district can put restrictions on who’s allowed to leave the campus for lunch. The student’s parents make the ultimate decision of whether they will allow their child to go off-campus for lunch. In order for students to go off-campus, they will need to have a written consent slip filled out by their parents and handed in to the office, as well as a pass
The benefits of having this outweigh the negatives. Making this the best option to improve the school. Our steps for allowing the students to leave the campus are. They must have their parents and the principle sign a contract agreeing that they can leave. The must also have a student id them. This student id will be scanned when they leave school and when they return. This will make sure that all the students are accounted for. There will also be an adult and or teacher standing by the door; this person will be in charge watching the students scan their id. This will insure that no underclassman can leave. When scanning their id there pins will also be entered, insuring no ones id is taken. Talking about underclassman only the seniors are allowed to leave. These students must be passing all of there classes. There is a formal contract written out that both the parents, principle, and student will sign. Students are not able to bring food back. They are allowed to bring liquids back but they will be monitored. There will also be two lunches first lunch will be from 11:20a.m-12: 20 pm, second lunch is from 12:25 pm- 1:25 pm. In the morning in their first class students will take a survey in their email to see if they are staying or leaving for lunch. This will ensure that the school doesn’t make to much food. One other rule is they are unable to leave on Wednesday because of the shortened
Why is there so many unnecessary rules at Northwestern High School. For example, we should be able to have other drinks then just water. Also we should be able to go get lunch outside of school. In conclusion it is my hope that the school will make some changes to their roles.
According to the previous citation, students aren't working immediately after they graduate because they are afraid to start thinking about paying off their loans. Additionally, they are in danger working to pay their bills or other expenses and also their large loans they have to pay back. This is why college students shouldn't take any loans or they wanted to take out a little, then they shouldn't take out as
I am writing this e-mail to address the issue of a closed campus at the high school. High school students should be allowed to leave the campus during lunch to find a comfortable environment to eat and to buy what they want to eat.
The blazing hot sun warms over the afternoon; balloons, candles, and cake surround me. It is the day of my best friend’s eighth birthday party, laughter and happiness echoes in the atmosphere. An insatiable thirst washes over me so I make my way over to the refreshments table and without hesitation, pour myself the seemingly only drink available. My curiosity peaks, I look around and realize that everyone really does have the same drink. “Why is this the only beverage available?” I wonder. Why did the host assume that everyone would enjoy it? Such a typical occurrence, everyone follows along without question. “How bad could it actually be?” I thought to myself. Just because something is considered normal or common, does that mean it is right
Louis County School District to retain an open campus policy. Students in grades nine through twelve may leave the school grounds during their lunch period, so long as they are in good standing with the school. In other words, this privilege, if abused, may be taken away. Even so, what about those in the seventh and eighth grades, or even those who cannot drive? An outdoor lounge, located right on school grounds, could provide them a place to spend their lunch period; a place they can experience a change in scenery without even leaving school
Open- Campus for sophomores and juniors should be allowed. The reason being, there are too many students to try and obtain all of the students, over crowded, not enough food to be served for all grades, food at the school is not always hot and fresh, businesses are running out of business because their most, busiest time is when students are released to eat.
There is a time where everyone has to stop being a kid and grow up to become an adult. It is different for all depending on many things; such as culture, how you were raised, the environment you lived around, and when you want to actually grow up and become something of yourself. For Indians cultures, it might be you have to go own a journey of some sort, Africans you might have to go kill a lion, for most Americans it is going off to college. At least for me, it’s going off to college. You face many things when in college that will prepare you for the rest of your life. College is a “trial” for adulthood.
There is a lot of problems in the world, and people won’t do anything to solve these type of problems. Some of the problems are like pollution, population, not enough clean air, and many more. The one that focuses my mind more, and makes me more upset about is students my age, and older dropping out of high school. The reason this upsets me so much is because they don’t know how much they are affecting their life, and how much it’s going to hurt them in the future. I think this problem has become so huge in the United States that I am going to tell you how I would fix this problem, and why it is such a big problem.
While studying or even registering for a class presents a challenge to some college students, the greatest obstacle remains, going to class. Attending college is supposed to signify a new found freedom to make many important choices regarding education without high school mandatory attendance policies. However, students everywhere are coming to the staggering realization that college is not too different from high school. Teachers still take class roll and students are still expected to be at every class on time. What next, hall monitors in the hall? The time has come for action to be taken. Colleges must abolish mandatory student attendance policies for several reasons to be further discussed.
organize. Although, in social media students can select to leave the protest in a second or
This money can also help me get through college with either text books or just supplies like a laptop, clothes, washing clothes or food all of which would help me when attending college. Most colleges almost require a laptop unless there is a local library but even then you usually have a time limit on the computers and college work can take many hours to complete. This money could also help me with small things like using a washer and dryer most dorms don’t have washers and dryers in them so I would have to go to a laundromat and that can get expensive after a
