Milton Hershey once said, "If I ever become rich, I am going to use my money to build schools to give every boy and girl an opportunity to get an education" (Quotes Said by Milton Hershey). These words reflected how Milton Hershey felt about education because he was uneducated and forced to drop out. Hershey knew from that point on that he wanted to help others get educated. The Hershey Company helped him achieve these goals. Milton Hershey always has a passion for candy making, and he fulfilled his dream by becoming one of the most successful chocolate entrepreneurs. He used his wealth to create a school for orphaned boys and helped anyone in need.
Sometimes mistakes can lead to great discoveries. An explorer can be searching for a waterfall and then trip and fall into a hidden cave. The possibilities are endless when it comes to this topic. Like in “Lost Cities, Lost Treasure”, “How a Melted Bar of Chocolate Changed Our Kitchens”, and “In Praise of Careful Science”. These things can change people's lives in good and bad ways.
People always make great discoveries, but they are sometimes caused by mistakes. Mistakes can’t help find discoveries. The real way to make discoveries is through lots of research and years of work. Although mistakes can help find discoveries they often do more damage than helping and can make people lose the trail to artifacts.

Sir William Herschel accomplished a lot for astronomy. In 1781 he was able to discover Uranus with his own homemade telescope. With the help of his sister, he was also able to discover over 2,500 celestial bodies that are still being used today. It was the first planet discovered that could not be seen with the naked eye. A discovery encompasses the experiences made by an individual who explores and questions what is known and understood about the world. These types of discoveries can lead to significant ramifications such as transformative perspectives and connect with the universality of specific concepts. The Australian play by Michael Gow, ‘Away’ and short film ‘Time’ express these ideas through their different forms and representations of themes such as the influence of nature and the cyclical nature of different discoveries. Thus opportunities to discover are offered to individuals throughout their lives, allowing their desires to discover to be achieved.
Isaac H. is a well-developed African American that experienced the Great Migration in his lifetime. Growing up poor, Isaac had nine siblings and family throughout the United States. Isaac’s Aunt specifically lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and invited Isaac to experience the north at an early age by working there during his summers. The Great Migration was a movement that changed Isaac H.’s life because his family moved to the north and created a foundation for him. This foundation, along with Isaac’s experience, was established by the Blacks who took a risk and moved to the North without a guarantee that there was anything for them .This risk was in the minds of almost 6 million African Americans and they all made a choice that resulted in

This year my topic for this years theme is about Professor Sara Seager an astronomer and a planetary scientist. The reason I chose to do a report about Sara Seager is that because she wants to find Earth's twin or an Earth-like alien planet that could possibly host life. Seager did want to simply look for distant planets. Instead she set her sights on something more specific their atmosphere. She was the first person to do so.
Milton Snavely Hershey was born on September 13, 1857 in Derry Township, Pennsylvania. He was born and the only surviving child to the parents of Veronica “Fanny” Snavely and Henry Hershey. Milton trailed his father, a man who always looked for new opportunities. In 1867 Hershey’s father left their family and it is believed that Veronica was growing tired of her husband’s failures. At the age of 13 Hershey dropped out of school and was apprenticed at the young age of 15. Hershey borrowed $150 from his aunt and started his own candy shop at the age of 18. Five years later Hershey still hadn’t had any success so he closed his shop and headed west where there he had reunited with his father. There he discovered

Most people wouldn’t even know what you would be talking about, if you brought up the subject of Alexander Von Humboldt. It’s ironic because many things are named after his last name, “Humboldt”. Humboldt has had accomplished many things back then. To change our lives he traveled over twenty four thousand miles, all over the world to understand the relationship between nature and
The Hershey Company, was started by an entrepreneur by the name of Milton S. Hershey. After many failed attempts, in 1894 Milton Hershey, started the Hershey Chocolate Company which produced sweet chocolate and cocoa for the flavoring and coating of Hershey’s own caramels. A business that was once known only for their chocolate bars, now has become a global sweet icon. With treats that include not
Kennedy and I share similar opinions on serendipity and additional elements that contribute to what accurately defines it. Most importantly, she notes that we still know so little about “creative observation” it means that there are still no for sure answers to every question which I think is okay. I believe that everybody views this differently based on what they view as serendipitous or what really defines a serendipitous discovery and this is what makes this article so important forcing people to critically think about such a complex
In both texts, moments of rediscovery catalysed by personal encounters allow for the reassessment of initial discoveries, whereupon they are understood more profoundly.
