Abstract
The paper provides the complete and reliable financial analysis of one of the most recognizable gaming enterprise in the United Kingdom, name William Hill. The aim was to measure if the chosen company is worth investing in at the market price and to identify its strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, the paper includes a comparison to William Hill’s biggest competitor, Ladbrokers.
As a tool, financial ratios and prospective price-earnings ratio analysis will be used. General analysis of all liquidity, efficiency and solvency measures demonstrates that William Hill was more liquid and more efficient than its competitor Ladbrokers. Findings that are based on the financial data, indicate that William Hill is a company worth investing for those who are conservative investor and who are able to take a risk in order to achieve higher return from investment.

It was originally created by William Hill in 1934, and it has been playing an important role in the development of the UK’s market for gaming and betting services.
