Before I start right off in this essay, I believe it 's only fair you should know a little back story of the author himself; William Shakespeare. Shakespeare was born April 26, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is located in the United Kingdom. Even though his goals were to become an actor, he fell into writing and become one of the most well-known writers in his life. There 's a lot of controversy surrounding Shakespeare and there 's many people who believe that he, himself did not write his famous plays, sonnets, and poems. In his lifetime, Shakespeare wrote thirty-seven plays, five long poems, and one-hundred-fifty-four sonnets. So as you can see, he was a busy man. Besides writing Shakespeare owned part of the Globe Theatre, acted in and directed plays, and did many more things with his life. During his life, he was just grouped as one of the many playwrights of his time and his plays weren 't held with such respect and astonishment as they are now-a-days. Shakespeare passed away three days before his birthday on April 23, 1616. He is gone but he will always be remembered.
To me, Shakespeare 's Othello seems different from his other work. Although it is considered to be one of Shakespeare 's four main tragedies, in Othello, there is evident signs of racism (stemming from Iago mostly) that I haven 't picked up in his other works I 've read. Gillian’s quote was very important because he described that Shakespeare’s works were fascinating. A big question that is still asked today, is whether Shakespeare actually wrote all the works that he was attributed. Based on my own research and evidence I have gathered, I believe that William Shakespeare was not an author, but it was actually Sir Francis Bacon who wrote all the famous pieces of literature.

Overtime his feelings grow stronger for the youth and they begin to change. Shakespeare’s attitude towards The Prince changes overtime and is shown in sonnet 20 and 126. His feelings for the youth is very different from sonnet 20 to 126.
