With reasonable temperatures in the daytime and cooling nights, fall in Chicago is the ideal trip. The trees in parks and forests light the city on fire with the fiery reds, bold oranges, and exciting yellows. The thought of being able to stroll leisurely down a sidewalk, taking pictures of the beauty that would surround me sets fire to my creativity. I love fall colors and smells, the autumn season sends every one of my senses into frenzy. From the smells of coffee that people are drinking, to the sounds of laughter, and chittering teeth from people who didn’t dress warmly enough. Seeing lovers hurriedly walking hand in hand, trying to get out of the chilly weather, and the drip of the last night’s rain as it slips from the leaves, you can even taste the air, and how crisp it is. Though by late October and early November, temperatures start to drop, and nights can be fairly brisk, I wouldn’t mind. Personally I like the way the cold turns my nose red, and makes me feel as though I can’t breathe, and with every inhale my insides seem to freeze, just to be warmed by a cup of hot chocolate, or
The smell of gyros and aroma of fresh chicken is almost strong enough to stun you. If you're visiting and need a famous place to go to and eat then I recommend Harold's Chicken, which is a Chicago landmark by all means. It's impossible to stay on a diet with all these restaurants in the way. You can walk on one street and literally pass by ten different places to eat. The food is as vibrant as the people, you can get a shishkabob next door to a place selling lobster. Walk further than the street and you'll see someone selling corn in a cup next door to a Chinese food shop. Corn in a cup is actually better tasting than it sounds by the way. It's corn , sour cream , Cajun seasoning ( most of the time ) and sometimes a sauce marinated over it. Just reading all of this will make you hungry even if you just

Growing up in the city of Detroit then moving out to the Suburbs of West Bloomfield is a huge change. In Detroit I became accustomed to my environment. For the most part we were black. Racial issues didn't come up much because of this. While I understood racism and knew that Blacks were a minority throughout the country. I had never felt what it really felt like to be a minority.

Chicago, a city well known for its bold architecture, amazing food and fascinating museums. A paradise for people to expand upon their brilliant ideas such as Oprah Winfrey and the President of the United States. With a population of 2,722,389 (according to the United States Census Bureau) Chicago takes home the third largest city in the nation . A better place than this would sound unrealistic but to every beautiful story there's an ugly secret. The city has been infected with a large outbreak killing thousands of its citizens. On November 6, I went to Chinatown and I had my dinner at there. All the way down to the South, after I passed lakeshore drive and downtown, I arrived Chinatown. Usually I go to Chinatown once a week because I am from China and thus I really like Chinese food. First, I went to Little Lamb Hot Pot to have my dinner. After the dinner, I went to the food market to buy some food supplies and cooking materials. In my opinion, the impact of globalization in Chicago’s Chinatown can be reflected in food, commodity, and culture.
