Extraterrestrial encounters of all forms and kinds leave some kind of evidence whether it is physical or non tangible evidence like a person’s story of seeing a flying saucer or possesses photos of the unidentified flying object. These forms of evidence aren’t always the most reliable as many are reported false and considered hoaxes. Ever since the incident at Roswell, any information or evidence that proves other worldly existence automatically becomes the center of attention and can bring an individual fame and even
The government claims it was not alien aircraft or aliens and nothing of the sort was ever recovered. They have stated it was only a weather balloon. Alternatively, the evidence may exist but we, the public, are simply denied access to it by the big government on earth. But there are reasons why the government keep hiding and denying about the truth of their existence. The government is

In the book Into the Wild the main character, Chris Mccandless, made a rational decision to exclude himself from human society because he believed that going beyond what his parents and society wanted he would live a happier life. Chris wanted to leave society and venture into the wilderness to find the true meaning of who he was. Chris Mccandless was neither crazy or ignorant to live off in the wild where there was no people or anything to interact with but nature. Chris wanted to find his inner self and not only was he a role model for kids all across the country but he also followed his dream. Even though it was selfish of him to leave his family, Chris Mccandless is not crazy because he followed his dream, lived his life the way he wanted to, and went into the wild to find who he truly was.
First off, I want to say that this was a very interesting video. For people who think of Muslims as bad, hate filled people this would be an extremely good video to have them watch. I have friends who are Muslims so I have never seen them the way that Dave did or the way that some of the random people who were interviewed do. I had my mother watch it and she seemed to think afterwards that maybe they were ok people, whereas before, she used to complain about the Mosques in Iowa City and she blamed all Muslims for 9/11.
In the novel Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, Chris McCandless takes a wild journey. Although some believe that his journey and thought process was noble and courageous, he was actually extremely fatuous throughout his journey. Many people that Chris met along the way made remarkable attempts at making him aware of the dangers that he would surely face in Alaska. Chris McCandless knowingly stepped into the treacherous wild without being prepared for what reality would throw his way.
In just walk on by Brent Staples describes the victim as a white sophisticated dressed woman in her early twenties. Brent Staples characterize this woman as a victim because she felt threatened by Staples appearance. Brent tells us that as he walked behind her, she glanced at him with a worried face and paced quickly out of his sight and disappeared into the street. The woman thought Staples was a criminal.
In Loose Change part 2, flight 93 that crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. At the crash site there is no evidence of flight 93 just a little crater that shows that the plane pould of had to hit the ground at a vertical dive. Before the crash there were three out of many eyewitnesses who were talked to. Susan Mcelwain, said she saw a white plane flew over her and her van, she said it was about 40 ft. above her and she didn’t here a noise. She said it looked like a military plane, as she watched it fly behind tree’s and heard an explosion she thought it crashed, until the FBI told her there was no other plane around there, only flight 93. Then later the FBI changed there story and said it was taking pictures of the crash site. Tom Spinelli and Lee Perba said they had also
Another source from BBC news argues differently. They say there are clear pictures that show airplane wreckage and that the cockpit voice recorder showed that the passenger tried to regain control of the plane. They also
That video seemed to build credibility at the beginning through the news room background but lost the credibility, in my eyes, through the offensive language used by multiple people in the video. Also the credibility was lost when the “news anchor” did not seem too interested in talking about the topic by saying things like “a desperate attempt”. Also one of the “witnesses” says “I’m an older man, so you can trust what I say”, to try to build his personal credibility. There is also a expert mentioned to assist the speaker to help persuade his audience while making his point. Personally, I did not find any pathos in the video, but did spot some logos. There were a couple of graphs shown, which shows a sign of fact in the video, but they didn’t help the speaker and his point because his credibility was destroyed by the language
Both Chris McCandless and Henry David Thoreau relate to the concept of transcendentalism. Transcendentalism’s main ideas revolve around the concepts of self-wisdom, nature, and social reform. Both McCandless and Thoreau embrace two of these three ideas, but they both also show individualism very strongly. People can see this when they read Into the Wild and Thoreau’s excerpts from Walden. By reading these passages, the reader can see similarities between the lives of McCandless and Thoreau.
The September 11 attacks were tragic events that had spread shockwaves of horror and grief across the United States. The tragedy became the subject of controversy as some skeptics began to doubt the details reported to have transpired that day. Some people question its legitimacy, theorizing that the Bush administration devised and orchestrated the attacks to further its agenda. Filmmaker Dylan Avery discusses and promotes this prevalent conspiracy theory in his documentary, Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup. Avery argues that the government possessed foreknowledge of the attacks by comparing them to precedents of similar situations. He challenges the official explanations and provides his analyzations of evidence from the reports and media. Avery effectively appeals to pathos, ethos, and logos in his film, but his compelling argument is ultimately undermined by fallacies.
The Roswell incident is one of the most publicized and well-known accounts of a possible UFO crash in the world. Perhaps the greatest evidence that a UFO did indeed crash near Roswell, is the wide scale military cover up that took place after the crash. This along with numerous eyewitness accounts of the crash site, prove that what ever
Chris Mccandless was a man that many would call crazy or maybe even immoral. He left everything to live in the wild and become “one with nature”. He had determination, a strong mindset, fearlessness and courage. I believe that my life and the life of Chris Mccandless are not similar in any aspect. In fact I wish that my life was more like his and that I had the drive and determination to do what he did.
“This fact allows reject evidence that would otherwise confirm the presence of a solid object under intelligent control with propulsion irreproducible by human technology” (Thompson, 1990). For instance, when a certain degree of physical substance for an airplane is obtained for an unconventional disk-shaped vehicle, this degree of evidence is accepted for the airplane but rejected for the anomalous vehicle (National UFO reported Center, 2005).
