Eyewitness Testimony The use of the eyewitness testimony has always been viewed as one of the most reliable forms of evidence when it comes to the court system. Recently many cases have been brought up where the use of the eyewitness testimony has failed and put an innocent citizen into jail leaving the criminal on the loose and a threat to the population. This has caused eyewitness testimony to go from a reliable source to a controversial subject for many. The eyewitness testimony should not be used because memory is corrupted after a certain length of time, interviews push eyewitnesses to identify a subject, and lineups further confuse the witness.
Police Report Narrative On October 13th, 1982, at approximately 1:15 a.m. the neighbors of Queenie Volupides had reported that Queenie tore out of the house after an argument with her husband, Arthur. She quickly got in her Mustang convertible and sped away. Queenie stated that she went to the couple’s country club for a party that was going on to celebrate the opening of the new golfing range. But I believe this was just the beginning of her scheme. I affirm that Queenie has murdered her husband Arthur. (Claim)

A fire rose within to burn social economic barriers that imprisoned me from achieving an education. As a member of a low-income household, I continually witnessed my parents struggling to pay for utilities, rent, and groceries. Although we received government assistance, it never seemed to be enough. My father worked
The midnight sky is pitch black with only a slight gleam of light emanating from the moon. The night is so silent that even a pin drop could be heard from miles away. No one is stirring and the world has drifted off into a deep sleep. The night seems

Sara, I have called a couple of times to discuss my conversation with KC's defense attorney, but you must be busy. Yesterday, Gabe called me wanting to know why I was not recommending SSODA and I explained to him all of the reasons that were laid out in the
As a lawyer, when one asks me to describe the criminal process I tell them, “it is a truth-finding exercise”. Indeed, it is only by discovering the truth that the Australian criminal justice system is able to guarantee a fair trial and justice. However, it is harder to explain that the truth, at least in the legal arena, is not always ‘objective’. This was made evident by my nine-year old nephew during a heated episode of Law & Order. “Uncle, he’s definitely guilty”, she boldly proclaimed. Of course, she was pointing to the accused who had been convicted of perjury a decade ago. My feeble attempt at explaining that he was not necessarily lying just because his account was inconsistent with the ostensibly more credible police witnesses’ version proved futile.
So when I first got there I had the idea that it was a mock trial. It was not until we start and they started going over the history of the Texas Supreme Court and how they are able to travel thought the state did I realize that the court cases were real. Which, I am glad that they were real cases because that would have been boring if they were mock. So once I got that all right in my head I started to focus on the cases the first one was at some point difficult to follow to quote my friend who’s in high school “I don’t get why everybody is so mad about so ranch there is plenty of it at Walmart at leas that’s what that one dude said”. Now, my friends, he is the class clown, so I knew it was a joke but he did ask me “for real why did he keep

Subsequently the resident asked her foster mother about the phone which prompted the foster mother to become angry and become aggressive pushing the resident against the closet numerous times resulting in a dent to the wall and a bruise to her back. Later the foster mother's son Ricky Barnes arrives in the room and also pushed her.
My trial was hard and brutal. The hardest thing was to see that people, that I didn’t even know, want me dead for something that I am physically not capable of doing. You all know me, and who I really am. Most of you probably don’t care about what I have to say, and most of you don’t care what happens to me, but I know some of you do truly believe me. I was framed, and the evidence even proves that I didn’t do it, but no one believes a black man .I mean how could I choke a strong woman like Mayella, and keep her down to where she can’t get up, with my crippled arm. I would never do such a thing to anyone, and I hope you all know that. This justice system is not fair, and I knew there would be no way out of this mess.

My second week at the court house was long but eye opening. I learned so much about the criminal justice system. I leaned that each procedure and each role a person play is crucial to someone life. On Tuesday, the day was short but still alarming. I came in and shadow one of the clerks as she was preparing for court. As the clerk was setting up for court I remember trying to recognize which department is what on each traffic ticket. I felt confuse, but the clerk show who was trooper, SUNY New Paltz police, and state police/ She remind that I will eventually learn who is who and how to set up for court. I felt better about what she said and I was ready for court. I notice that court will be short today because we did not have many cases. I began
I used to be an easy target because I couldn’t speak English. I couldn’t defend myself. My experience explains why I became an attorney for my county’s teen court. Most teenage defendants are there for petty theft, trespassing or damaging private property. I remember a group of middle school
Good morning Mrs. Self, Hope you are enjoying our well deserved long weekend! I have a quick question. Over the summer, Mrs. Delgado provided me with a copy of the form required to begin processing my temporary certification, which I faxed to Broward County Public Schools fax number. I also did my fingerprints, and submitted a copy of my I-9 form. However, I haven't received anything from the county.
