This case study will show how world philosophy, personal values, and business ethics have components that are shared that impact values and morals. Values are at the core of all decision making personal or business. This study will provide analysis of how these capacities shape a person’s or business ethics. It will show how something is reasoned to be right or wrong. It will highlight how these ideas get formed, the root of the problem as well as suggest recommendations that might resolve issues related to world, personal and organization values and ethics. My worldview has come from a core Christian background since I was raised a Catholic. The view has grown, changed, and continues to develop over time. Religion means different things to different people. The religions of Islam, and Christianity believe in one God. Hinduism does not. Hindu’s believe that the universe is an egg with many heavens and hells and India is at the center of all of it (Pecorino , 2001). I believe in “God” or if you would prefer to call this Supreme Being “Allah”. I will admit that I struggle with religion. I agree with Karl Marx that religion is man- made (Smith, 1998). Although the holy books like the “Bible”, the “Quran”, and the “Vedas” are great stories. I think they may have been influenced by god, after reading parts of all of them I think they have been interpreted by man for man and contain biases. I would consider myself more closely aligned to theism. This basic view is one creator
