HELPING OTHERS IN HARD TIMES In developed countries poverty is not a problem, almost every person has enough of everything to waste. Even they have money to own a pet and expend high quantities of money on them. According with World Bank* study 1.2 Billions of people live in poverty in developing countries. Many countries around the world are assisting individuals in need; The United States are one of them. This country has a diverse types of organizations which help developing countries fight for different problems in its rural areas. In developing countries, people hardly have food, tap water, or a good place to live. As we can see most of the organizations are created here. The two organizations were created in the United States. World Vision was founded in Washington State and ASPCA was founded in New York, City. World Vision established its operations in 1950 in contrast ASPCA was launched in 1886, more than one hundred years apart.

Both organizations are non-profits. Non-profit organization pursues the benefit of the public, and targets its essential needs. Non-profits benefits different individuals in need. World Vision mission involves families around the world in poverty. Planned different activities with the community and resolves their basic needs. On the other hand ASPCA fight for animal cruelty, trying to rescue every animal with difficulties.

Finally, the two organizations are subsidized by donations around the world. Donations are received at the headquarters of each organization and distributed to comply with their own missions. World Vision has a variety of forms to receive the donations, in the form of money, or individuals who want to participate personally. Others who have special skills, would work in the offices invest their knowledge at the service of the organization. Raise funds or participating in assemble boxes with food and clothes to send around the world. Even though both non-profits raised funds ASPCA only accept cash donations.
