As a result of World War I, Germany was forced to sign the Treaty of Versailles, made to pay for the war, and had to disarm themselves, which directly led into World War II. Germany went down the tubes after they were forced to sign the Treaty of Versailles. There economy crashed and there money had just about no value. Many people that World War II was just a 20 year break from World War I. They were right because just about 20 years later World War II started. Germany had very low employment rates in this time and it made it even harder to get back to a stable economy. In this time a lot of people had no jobs so this also did not help Germany because companies were going out of business. This directly led to the decline of Germany's economy. When having no business’s running the country as no money coming in and can not send anything out. After World War I Germany could make no money because all of these factories were bombed. They could not make any goods because they had no factories to make any in. Also a lot of farmland was destroyed so they had to get all that back and grow more food. They had no money so they couldn't buy anything from other countries. They had to get by with the little amount of things they have left. Germany had money but after the war there currency was just about worthless. This was the complete opposite for the United States seeing as World War I really helped our economy. After World War II Austria Hungary was no longer a country.
Hitler rose to power on 30 January 1933 and fell on 30 April 1945. He wanted to get Germany to have power again and to take over that side of the world with Austria Hungary. They would also share everything that they got. But instead Germany went into huge debt and Austria Hungary is no longer a country.
