Ethical Principles and Tenets
Chief Executive Officer: Bernie Ebbers
Mr. Ebbers didn’t quite exude many violations, because it never said if he actually knew what was going on. All the charges were basically assumptions. Although, if you are the CEO you should be able to understand and know what’s on your financial statements. Mr. Ebbers lack accountability and pursuit of excellence.
Chief Financial Officer: Scott Sullivan
Scott lied to “his friends, co-workers, the Audit committee, in house legal, Auditors;” Cooper pg 342 honesty and then turned around and blamed everything he had done on Mr. Ebbers; integrity/fidelity/pursuit of happiness/ responsible citizenship. Mr. Scott did not take accountability for anything he had done. In addition, Mr. Scott did not show any caring or respect to others. Mr. Scott exemplified the opposite of all the principles. Controller: David Myers and Director of General Accounting: Buford Yates
Both showed a lack of honesty, integrity and fidelity. Even though, Mr. Meyers did wear the burden of this stress he still performed unethically.
Mr. Yates didn’t have a long sheet, but he still committed a crime. He also lacks in honesty, integrity, fidelity.
The behavior of the Administrators

The administrators were all acting different. According, to Cooper. Mr. Scott was acting very hostile towards her. Everytime Ms. Cynthia would have a conversation with Scott it would be worse than before. Cooper
