Biblical Worldview Essay (Romans 1-8) In the Book of Romans Paul wrote many letters answering questions about the human world, mankind’s relations with God, the natural world and most importantly the plan of salvation. Paul wrote these letters to tell the truth, to tell that no matter what race or religion, we are all sinner and the only way to truly become righteous is though faith in Jesus Christ. In Rome at that time you had two extremes of people, the heathens, and those who thought they were holier than thou (Jews). In todays society we still have those two extremes but we also have a middle ground, those who are straddling the fence. We know what is right not by choice but by design, we have a conscience to do right. The Conscience to do right was lost and can now only be tapped through salvation. Everyone is taught what is right or wrong based on worldview but its not until you have faith in God that your conscience is reveled to do right by Him. Romans 5:12 says, ”Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned”, because Adam sinned we are all sinners and are separated for God. Every manner of wickedness was brought on by this state of sin; this wickedness is more prevalent in today society. This very sin greatly affected human relationships. Children are outright disobedient to their parents without fear, the people you call “friends” are the ones gossiping about you, and 40 – 50% of marriages in the United States alone end in divorce. Today’s culture definitely defies the book of Romans; even some of the people who read or have studied the book still haven’t come to grips with it. According to todays society sex is a normal thing, perversion and sexual abuse is at an all time high. Society is so terrible that even if a girl decided to save herself those dreams can quickly disappear in the increase of rapes per year. Drugs and crime are a normal occurrence in the world today. In my country, which is only 207km2, the murder count for 2014 is about 30 - 35 and increasing daily. The people in
