Do you ever think about how you write or writing in general? Many people believe writing in cursive isn't as important as it was made out to be. I belive there is a good side to writing weather it's cursive or not. Writing helps you remmeber tasks more effeciantly, strengthens the brain, and can even identify brain disorders.
First off, the brain is very complex in many ways all down to a science. Individuals can reduce the effects of brain injury just by learning cursive. This may seem odd but, cursive is a common tool used by people who have dyslexia or reading disorders to help assist them. This enables them to be able to connect with their brain more, for instance some individuals have brain injuries that prevent them from writing in print, typing …show more content…

Studies show that students learned more from handwriting their notes rather than typing them. Writing information down by hand infront of you helps you remember more of what you wrote instead of typing down every word the teacher says which causes you to not actually hear the lesson in action. This is depleting our learing skills by taking the easy way and by this I mean that it is a lot easier to type what you hear rather than to write it down. Our brains are meant to be worked to its fullest to help strengthen it, so why are schools taking that away by having unnessasary requirements like typing when its proven that writing is what's best for our minds?
Many people belive that writing in cursive isn't as important as it was made out to be. Studies and reasearch show this differently yet schools are still continuing to not teach cursive writing. Cursive improves our motor skills, learning, and the healthiness of our brains along with many other great deeds. You don't try to fix things that aren't broken, so why change the system of what's worked for us for many years? Cursive writing is down right the best things for our minds, so we shouldn't stop
