X-Men: Apocalypse has a new set of actors to portray some of the franchise's most popular characters. James Marsden will be replaced by Tye Sheridan as Cyclops. Halle Berry's Storm will be taken over by Alexandra Shipp while Kodi Smit-McPhee becomes Alan Cumming's younger incarnation of Nightcrawler. Game of Thrones' very own Sansa Stark, Sophie Turner, plays as Jean Grey in replacement for Famke Janssen. Turner admitted that her character as Jean Grey has a different relationship with Charles Xavier as to what Patrick Stewart's Xavier and Janssen's Grey had with the other X-Men franchises. The actress even insists that with James McAvoy's portrayal, Jean Grey is just like his adoptive daughter. While talking to Digital Spy, the actress even said, "They have this unspoken bond because he's telepathic as well, he's gone through the same things. He's very powerful and he sees that growing in her. He wants to protect her and help her control her powers, but also, help her access the best of her ability. They have a really sweet relationship." …show more content…

She uses the fake identity to prevent unwanted connections with people other than the telepaths. By avoiding unnecessary contact she reduces the risk of being found out.
In the essay, “Secret Skin: An Essay in Unitard Theory”, American novelist, Michael Chabon, disputes that superheroes utilize their costumes in hopes of ‘concealing’ background knowledge of: who they are, how they obtain their abilities or why they adopted their alter ego (Chabon par. 28). Chabon develops his claim by arguing that people transform instead of escaping reality. Chabon believes that costumes can make a person develop into a stronger, more esteemed version of themselves. His purpose is to emphasize costumes do not keep identities anonymous but are used to display a physical representation of a person’s inner being.
As i stated in my response question the whole significance of the title involved Grandma, who represented everyone, not being able to see good in people due to them not meeting her approved definition of what she considers “good.” It's hard to tell whether the end was a moment of grace or not. The Misfit seemed to think she had a little change but not enough in the end. The quote that both characters at the end say shows that she finally saw a glimpse of good in The Misfit but he still didn't think she understood fully. She also disliked her son for the way he acted but when he was dragged into the forest and gunfire was heard she cried and repeated his name. She finally showed that she cared for him because most of the time when someone dies
She is a telepath, meaning that she has the ability to read others minds. Not only can she read minds, but not even the best telepaths can read her mind, but she can read theirs when others can’t.
When Dwayne intervenes, she's smitten. It doesn't matter that he's her boss, or that she dunked him in the small-town Texas festival the day before, or that he has tremors in his right arm from a
Set in the year 1988, Paper Girls is the Sci-Fi story of four young newspaper delivery girls whose sleepy suburb of Cleveland, Ohio is invaded by otherworldly beings. The girls soon find themselves wrapped up in the chaotic war that spans the fabric of time and space itself. Paper Girls was created by Brian K. Vaughan who is well known for his other series Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina, and Saga. The writing of the girls is fun, charming, and relatable. Brian brings a lot of personality to each of the girls and gives them character flaws that are believable and you would expect a twelve year old girl to have. In fact, before I realized who the author was, I was surprised to learn that the author was male. He’s created such well rounded characters
He did get a funny feeling inside every time Booker touched him, but he wasn’t convinced it was enough, at least not anymore. They had both experienced too much physical and psychological pain, the scars of which they would carry to their graves, and he wondered if being entwined in each other’s lives in both a physical and an emotional level could, in fact, be causing them more harm than

When someone encounters Lennie and George, they are setting up camp in an idyllic grove near the Gabilian Mountains. It is lush and green and inhabited by all varieties of wild creatures. It represents, as the ensuing dialogue makes clear, a safe have -- a place where both humans and beasts can retreat should danger
“It’s such an honor to play a younger version of James Marsden and it’s going to be hard to live up to what he created in the X-Men universe,” Sheridan said before explaining that Apocalypse will explore the backstory of several characters.

Odds against them or not, there's something undeniable in the way he makes her feel.
X-Men: Apocalypse is fascinating because it has many incredible action sequences that are present. The opening in ancient Egypt immediately made me enthusiastic, while the Apocalypse manages to have a great scene Quiksilver, and I will not go into further details for fear of spoiling it. All I'll say is that the film will be captivating.
She does build a relationship with the guy. But it does not last. As a result they are not together. She doesn’t really have a character arc.
