X men Apocalypse takes place in 1983, Apocalypse / En Sabah Nur, the first mutant world is waking from its slumber of dozens of centuries. Lorsqu'Apocalypse is finally released from his sleep, he is disgusted with the world, acquires four disciples, and decided to change things. The X-Men have a problem with that. So Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), alongside Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) and several young X-Men, trying to stop them. X-Men: Apocalypse is certainly not the turnip that most critics trying to believe. It is not as good as X-Men: Days of future past, which for me is one of the best superhero movies I've watched. When this film suffers the most is when he tries to introduce new characters, bring them into the continuity of the original …show more content…
If I have to rate the movie on it, I give it a 10/10. For his part, Michael Fassbender seems absolutely determined to Magneto a tragic figure, teaching us the start that it is hidden from the end of Days of future past, in Poland with a new wife and child. X-Men: Apocalypse is fascinating because it has many incredible action sequences that are present. The opening in ancient Egypt immediately made me enthusiastic, while the Apocalypse manages to have a great scene Quiksilver, and I will not go into further details for fear of spoiling it. All I'll say is that the film will be captivating. The final sequence of the film I will not spoil here. I'll just say that the time at the end of the latest trailer is incredibly well done and leave you more excited for this character that you have been since its inception. Overall, this film offers on the action, emotion, and service for fans, but it becomes a bit too padded when focusing on the bad guy when the film spends a lot of time with him, even if he has only one motive. X-Men: Apocalypse is a very fun and entertainment is a solid entry in the X-Men franchise. The film was very good. I enjoyed the 143 minutes of the film with pleasure and it is for me one of the best films of the
In my opinion, I feel that this movie, compared to today’s standards, is poor quality. From the 1980’s to the current time, the Hollywood industries and other movie producers have made astronomical improvements with every film released, and ever since
An advocacy group called Cajun Association for Legalization of Marijuana that has always had peaceful protests has now started a conversation among the community regarding their events continuing too late into the night and many noise complaints have been filed. In order to address these concerns two councilmen have proposed drafts that that could be deemed unconstitutional because of their violation of the First Amendment right of freedom of speech, but the drafts may also be supporting the right to preserve the peace in the city by regulating the noise or time of the event.
Action packed and funny from start to very end. As I said before A LOT of dirty humor and like profanity...which kinda sucks for kids who love the Marvel movies but then again there's no other way to have a Deadpool movie other than with the R-rating so... there's that. I wasn't a big fan of the jumping around time sequence thing they had going.
Tombstone is not only limited to history fans though, it is a very intriguing and fun to watch movie, and most people would enjoy it. I would not recommend this movie to people afraid of violence, because there is a lot of shooting and goriness throughout this film. Tombstone is rated R, so I would also not recommend this to younger people, because of the violence and language. Overall, I really enjoyed watching this film. I felt like I learned a lot about western life, and the violence that occured. All of the scenes were very well done, and I did not get bored while watching. The movie seemed very realistic, especially in the battling scenes. All of the actors in Tombstone did a fascinating job and portrayed their character very well. I also believe the movie was well put together, and all of the different scenes flowed together great. Tombstone was very fun to watch, and I learned a lot while watching it. If I had to rate Tombstone, I would give it 8 stars out of 10. All of the scenes were entertaining, the acting was excellent, there was not an overload of violence, it was realistic, and it was put together very well. Although this movie did have a great deal of good points, it did have its poor ones. At a few points during the movie, I became confused. To be more specific, during the showdown scene, I was confused on who was a cowboy, and who was not. I also grew confused during the scene with
In fact, the film's Ancient One featured is very similar to one of the comic books version of the character. Both would be called morality gray individual by some. That is connected the reason both are immortal. The movie was unique and very different like the last marvel comic movie I saw in theaters. Which was Antman. I like that very much. These other marvel comic movies after seeing a few of them didn't really thrill me. Dr. Strange manage to do an alright job of doing
Originally created by Stan Lee (writer) and Jack Kirby (artist), ‘X-Men’ is a graphic novel or comic book series that has spanned many decades. ‘X-Men’ first appeared in September 1963 and has since gained a large following and spread to multiple forms of media including film and TV. Published by Marvel comics, the series focuses on a group of ‘mutants’ who suffer a large amount of prejudice from the general population, finding salvation together in the mansion of a character named Professor Xavier. Released in a time of large social discrimination, but also a time of increasing views of equality, ‘X-Men’ was a true sign of the times. ‘X-Men’ was aimed at the population of America and the west,
Overall I found the movie to be quite interesting and exciting at times but a bit slow in others. The story itself was very clear to me and didn’t cause any confusion. It had a good flow also, just as you were on the verge of falling into boredom with a scene they switched it up on you to keep you
I'll never be accused of being a strong or avid gamer, but this is one I could defiantly waste some time playing. The game has a ton of variables and each path to victory was unique; something you don't see in every game. But for me, the biggest selling point is that I adore the X-Files and love every aspect of its cloak and dagger world.
It seems as if nowadays that every other movie that is released is a superhero based movie. They really are a dime a dozen, which is why I was hesitant to watch the 2010 cult classic Kick-Ass. That being said, I was glad I did end up watching it because what I got was something like I have never seen before in any other type of movie ever, and especially in a superhero movie, which makes it so memorable, and it was nothing short of its title name, kick-ass.
, Apocalypse Now is a true award-winning film. Even though it contains disturbing images, it is about a journey of self and the struggles successfully displayed with horrific, but yet stunning camerawork that making this Oscar-winning film breath-taking to watch. It’s literally breathtaking to see a film that just keeps surprising in every minute. The battle within is greater than the battle between the flesh is what defines Apocalypse Now, in which makes this epic film an adventure to explore. It’s not the end yet to watch Apocalypse Now before it’s truly the
With brief glimpses of the new characters, world's destruction and well, basically, the apocalypse, X-Men: Apocalypse is the prequel of X-Men: Days of the Future Past all X-men fans have been waiting for. The movie is set to hit the theatres on May 27,
I have always enjoyed movies. But at some point I started to think of movies as more than just entertainment. I began to view them as a movie critic would, rather than just a casual viewer. Because of this perspective, I think of "Apocalypse Now" as one of the best American made movies I have ever seen. As a student of and an active participant in the late twentieth century media age, I feel justified in making this statement. In my lifetime of observation of American media, including fourteen months of intense movie watching in conjunction with my employment at a local video store, I have had an opportunity to observe a broad sampling of the films, and feel more than qualified to make this statement. By referring to
Ignore the haters, this is a solid and entertaining film and definitely worth a watch. It starts off a bit slow but that's needed to set things in motion. This is definitely not a bad film as some have reviewed, from the cinematography to the editing to the acting, it's really well done and worth a watch, keep in mind, it's a remake of a very cheesy 70s film called HEAT so while some might be turned off by the cheesy dialogue, I personally thought it was hilarious, and it's complemented by some very well done scenes that move things along quite nicely. For what it is and what it sets out to do, it earns five out of five stars in my book as I never became bored while watching it.
Yes, it’s not as deep as some other DC movies, and it really isn’t important for “the big picture” of DC continuity, but it’s a decent stand-alone movie that entertained me. Sometimes, that’s all I want from a movie. Oh, and its soundtrack is fucking awesome. That’s why I give this movie
Some critics are already licking their chops to take shots at this movie. I've heard everything from Kong: Skull Island is hollow to it's lacking substance. What exactly were they expecting? Did they want Kong: Skull Island to have the same depth as Moonlight or La La Land? To judge this by any other measure than it was a monster movie is ridiculous. This film is an exhilarating experience for all moviegoers and will provide an escape from the onslaught of divisive headlines that seem to be a mainstay in the news. Sometimes an escape isn't a bad
