I use SharePoint and Outlook primarily to manage multiple project. I created a couple of SharePoint workflow to automate stakeholder’s notifications. SharePoint automatically notifies the stakeholders when the deliverables were available. I also used PostIT and Trello. Yammer was also helpful in keeping in touch with the
The U.S. banking system creates money by allocating the excess reserves from a deposit at creating a loan from the Home Bank. In other words, say I deposit a $100.00 in Bank #1, where Bank #1 is able to lend out some of my money to another customer. So, Bank #1by law needs to hold 10% of what I deposited which is known as required reserves. Therefore, the required reserves of my $100 is $10. So, Bank#1 is able to provide a $90 loan to another customer, which we will name Moe, from my $100. Then, Moe will turn around and spend that money which will eventually make its way to another bank, which we will call Bank #2. So, Bank #2 will be able to loan out $81 of Moe’s $90 yet, Bank #2 is still required to keep 10% which is required reserves, which is $9 of the $90.
Although cash might only have a small dollar amount on the balance sheet, there are many reasons that an auditor might spend a lot of time auditing the cash account:
•Process Division expenses and receipts accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for division day to day operations, ordering, deposits, recaps, correspondence, IT (computers, phones, printers, etc.), organization, and other tasks as needed. Negotiate reductions in expenses for office and event needs.
In insertion sort, the best case is not quadratic because it only has to verify each entry once since it would have nothing to insert. The algorithm would just read through the array once and see that it is already sorted. Selection sort must check each entry twice to verify that the array is correctly sorted in the best
I found the central tendencies, the 5-point summary and the standard deviation of both of my variables; including for the variable that has data for 2 years. Interestingly, the variables had some common results. However, there were more differences then similarities, as each calculation had a variety of results. For example, variable X I calculated both years (1990 and 2012) and I knew already that each country had major differences between the two, but I think that affected the results in each step (the central tendencies, the 5-point summary and the standard deviation). It is noticeable to see how the mean and median in 1990 is lower than the mean in 2012, and this carried out through the rest of the next calculations. Comparing these findings to variable Y, I see that there is a tremendous
In this scenario, I envisioned Jenny as a single college student, living alone in an apartment within walking distant from her campus and part-time job. Her car was a high school graduation gift from her parents; therefore, she does not have a car payment expense. She is still covered under her parents’ dental and health insurance plans while attending college so she does not have to allocate money for those expenses either. Garbage and recycling services at her apartment complex are included in her monthly rent. Having access to the internet is vital for her college courses so Jenny could bundle her cable, internet, and landline services for a discount.
The minimum scores provided a good basis to screen out Pierro from our hiring process (Appendix H). He did not receive the minimum score on any of our selection tools, thus we spent our time comparing and contrasting the two candidates that did make the minimum requirements, Kelemu and Zahra. If we had disregarded the cognitive ability test and the interview and just went off of the reliable and valid reference sheet, Zahra would actually have been awarded the FOH Manager position as she got the higher score from Cherwinski. At the time though, we made our decisions based off of the final scores of our selection tools whether or not they were valid or reliable. For that reason, Kelemu was chosen for the position of FOH Manager.
Communication protocols are necessary to properly manage the amount and type of information that will be communicated. Communication protocols are advantageous for a variety of reasons, including, better management and control of the flow of project-related information, to minimize misinformation and maximize the sharing of accurate information across the appropriate communication channels, and to provide structure to the formal and informal communications that are shared with external stakeholders.
After reading Chapter 6 of the textbook and the materials I found that I was struggling to understand the material more than usual. Before reading this chapter I had a slight idea of how much effort went into keeping track of the costs and inventory. The most that I knew was that you had to keep track of it, I didn’t know that there are different ways to keep track of those costs. After reading more into the different ways to keep track of inventory I found that the one that stuck out most to me and was the one that I spent the most time trying to understand was the LIFO (Last In First Out).
In my current position, as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, I work for a large pulmonary office where my main focus is to take care of patient’s needs by teaching them about their pulmonary disease and helping them improve their breathing. One way that we achieve this goal is by enrolling them in Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Our hypothesis is that through education and exercise; patients improve daily routines, feel better about themselves and function more independently. The null hypothesis would be that Pulmonary Rehabilitation does not help patients improve daily routines, feel better or function more independently. The alternative hypothesis is that Pulmonary Rehabilitation will improve daily routines, help the patients to feel better, and function more independently.
The key can be changes and unique to each sender and receiver. ("Symmetric encryption,”) states, “There are two types of symmetric algorithms. Stream algorithms (Stream ciphers) and Block algorithms (Block ciphers).” Stream ciphers only encrypt one bit at a time. This can make this cipher faster than block ciphers, but stream ciphers have a security gap that can be harmful for specific types of attacks. These specific attacks can cause information to be compromised. Block ciphers encrypts information in blocks instead of doing it bit by bit. The size of the blocks is usually 64 bits. Triple DES and AES are the most popular symmetric algorithms that use block ciphers.
When it comes to vision, we see things based on the light reflected from surfaces. The reflected light waves enter the eye through the cornea at the front of the eye, it's resized at the pupil, focused by the lens, and hits the retina at the back. The light is then detected by rods and cones, photoreceptors, which alters the light into electrical signals. The optic nerve transmits those vision signals to the lateral geniculate nucleus, where visual information is transmitted to the visual cortex of the brain then converts into the objects that we see.
I passed two different tests and got almost the exact same results. The first test shows me that I have four clearly expressed intelligences: Kinesthetic, Logical, Intrapersonal and Visual/Spatial. The second test gave me three top intelligences: Kinesthetic, Logical and Intrapersonal. I can say that all results correspond to reality. It is true that I love sports. I play tennis around 11 years. Also, I like math because of it I chose accounting discipline. In addition, it is completely true that I am an intrapersonal. Using these results I may think about my future career. However, I already have chosen one and it is correct decision this test proved my thoughts. Also, Kinesthetic intelligence provides me a chance to go in for sport. Logical intelligence supports my decision to be an accountant or an economist. However Intrapersonal intelligence shows me that I may reach successes working as CEO, an entrepreneur or even a psychologist.
Yes, I achieved those goals I want to learn. First of all, how to make someone happy when he/she is sad and how to change the gloomy environment into a happy environment. Moreover, do those things that give happiness to someone and they remind you forever. Furthermore, how to ask someone who needs help. Talk with the person in need with a polite and calm way so that he or she will ready to share their problems with you. I also learnt how to judge a person and about several customs and cultures. I built my confidence strong which helps me throughout my life. Also, enhance my mental horizon regarding working with people in the different community. I built strong speaking skills. These are the things I achieved from this experience.
Theoretically, the use of collaboration tools may be required by the company as one of its policies. However, in many cases, project managers freely select collaboration tools as long as they meet the project’s goals and objectives and support the implementations to achieve such goals and objectives. In addition, when selecting such tools, project managers need to consider to additional criteria such as the ability to access of all stakeholders, the ability to understand and use such tools of all stakeholders
