Cassia probably had the most important interactions with Ky even though she was matched with Xander. Ky and she told each other their life stories and traded poems to each other. An important interaction with Cassia and Ky was when they kissed each other on the hill even though they weren't matched together. An interaction with Cassia and Xander was when Cassia told Xander about loving Ky and him and seeing Ky’s face on the micro-card. Also, when Cassia’s official was talking to her about the poison in the food and how they purposely but Ky in the matching pool to see how Cassia would react. To understand Cassia you have to understand that she is very protective of her friends and family. She always does something to make her brother either happy or safe. For example, she said “what I risk has a limit. I won’t risk Bram”. She is very loving towards Ky because she would always talk about him and how perfect he is. She is always very observant because she could notice things no one else did like the poison in the food when the old turns eighty. …show more content…
In the middle, she was becoming more self-aware in the community and with her relationship between Ky and her was getting more secretive. Cassia was matched with Xander but saw Ky’s face on the micro-card which she was told it was a rare glitch. Then fell in love with the both of them. Towards the end, she didn't really care about the rules and loved Ky even more than before.
I feel that Cassia is very brave and loving. She was brave because she have a relationship with Ky and he was an aberration and wasn't supposed to have a match. She is loving because Ky was taken away to the Outer Provinces and Cassia is going to look for him. She is also very caring because she would do anything to keep her family and friends safe. I really liked Cassia as a character in this
Cassia doesn’t realize bending the rules is necessary until she meets her true love, Ky. This supports the theme because as soon as she realized what her father did, it became for love easier for her to break the rules. Since the rules were very strict, not many people were prone to break them. But, as soon as Cassia fell in love, it seems as though she became known to breaking the rules. However, her love for her family limited her diving headfirst into rebellion.
In the production, The Real Queen of Hearts Ain’t Even Pretty, I believe the most important character is Liz Nichols. She serves as the antagonist of the play against Sherri Lee Speer. Liz uses her sense of power to shape Cass into her own shadow, as well as form how Cass and Paula feel about Sherri Lee.
Margot is very compassionate about everyone and making sure that everyone is happy and has what they need. She is compassionate about her school work even though they are not in school
Condie uses character relationships to show the trust and mistrust between Cassia and Indie. Near the beginning, Indie and Cassia hid their contraband for each other while they were being searched individually. That showed trust because they trusted each other enough to hand each other their precious items. In the book it is written, “‘I’ll take yours. You take mine when it’s
Along with his lack of self-confidence, Cyrano has an incredibly strong sense of selflessness that causes him to go to outrageous lengths to aid others. While a respectable trait, his extreme sense of selflessness also forces Cyrano to curb his emotions for Roxane, creating another mental blockade for Cyrano’s non-existent happiness. The combination of all the negative aspects of Cyrano’s traits is a key factor in what eventually lead to Cyrano’s tragic fall.
In the book Matched by Ally Condie the main character Cassia changes drastically throughout the novel. In the beginning of the novel Cassia has been just like everyone else and blindly following the rules of the society. When she gets matched with her best friend she is so excited, but when she sees another person on her microcard she slowly starts to see all the flaws of the society and what is wrong with what they are teaching her. Cassia changes significantly and observably from the beginning of the novel to the end.
I think that Cassie’s innocence went away over the course of this chapter because of the reasons above. So in result of this I think that Cassie has learned a lot about the world she is living
Cassius is a senator in Shakespeare's “Julius Caesar.” He is jealous of Julius Caesar because of all the power and love he gets, as shown in the quote "Why man, he doth bestride the narrow world Like a Colossus and we petty men Walk under his huge legs and peep about."(Shakespeare 7) This quote basically states that Cassius is tired of Julius being better and that he thinks they should not be beneath him. Cassius also seeks to get his own power. To achieve this he manipulates Brutus as shown by this quote, “Well, Brutus, thou art noble I see, thy honourable metal may be wrought From that it is disposed: therefore it is meet That noble minds keep ever with their likes For who so firm that cannot be seduced?” (Shakespeare 12) This
She is speaking her own mind now and she is with who she truly loves, Ky. Red is again key for the red tablet, which makes you forget things, but, the cover is also red because of the scars from the plague, that gets introduced in Reached. In this book, Ally wrote in summary “After leaving Society to desperately seek The Rising, and each other, Cassia and Ky have found what they were looking for, but at the cost of losing each other yet again. Cassia is assigned undercover in Central city, Ky outside the borders, an airship pilot with Indie. Xander is a medic, with a secret. All too soon, everything shifts again.” Basically, Cassia and Ky have joined the rising and are defeating the plague. They have finally ‘reached’ the end of this journey. The goats have finally got past the troll and have settled into their beautiful new home (the
While shaken by what she's witnessed, Cass also knows this is the story to turbocharge her lacklustre career.
Cassieś actions proved that she is a outspoken girl that won´t give up in what she believes in.Also she shows growth throughout the store in her actions. She shows the most emotion for the land through her actions.
In some shape or form, all characters are somehow connected. First, Ky Markham, the one who accidentally showed up on cassia’s micro-card, is connected to her because he had fell in love with her. Ky had told Cassia about the Rising (a group that rebels against society). Another important character connected to cassia is her grandfather. He has put a major influence on her because some of his poems gave her motivation to join the Rising. He had shown her the light at the end of the tunnel, he’d shown her that there is more than just living in a “perfect” society. He had also shown her that it was okay to rebel. He still had poems he had hidden for a few decades, ones that hinted at Cassia to join the
Courage is when you will go do what is right when the right might be tough. Comentairy cassie was brave and stated her opinion all throughout the book for instance she stood up for little man and stood up too lillian jean. cassie has the most courage and i think this because at the beginning of the book she stands up for little man then she stands up to lillian jean along with standing up for papa when he was getting talked about behind his back.
She’s a manipulative liar that does anything to get her way which also leads a downfall with the other characters. She convinces the other girls to make false accusation and causes other innocent women to continue to the hysteria.
The further ‘off the rails’ Cassie goes, the more extreme the sexual situations, at one point ‘courting’ a female and then a few minutes after the female leaves a male arrives. “Sexuality strongly influences people’s identity.” (Op. cit. p.22) And at this point in the series we find that Cassie has a very mixed up idea about who she is and what she wants.
