As a person who has never done yoga or hasn’t had much practice with breathing exercises; it was hard to remain focused while following the instructions of the audio. For a few minutes, I was able to breathe slowly and follow the instructions, but then my mind was invaded with thoughts and feelings, this caused me to lose my concentration. Although, I kept trying to continue meditating, it was hard to stay focused for more than a few minutes. I think Yoda Nidra could be helpful for individuals struggling with anxiety and stress disorders because it would allow them to decrease the intensity of their symptoms.
