Recently there have been a few creators that have given YouTube a bad name. For example, over the past few months, multiple terrorist groups have been posting recruitment videos. More commonly known incidents were when popular YouTuber stars posted inappropriate videos. Logan Paul filmed the corpse of a recent suicide in the suicide forest in Japan, and PewDiePie who made anti-Semitic jokes on videos. Due to these notorious incidents, companies were pulling their ads from YouTube at a very fast rate, which caused YouTube to make some important decisions.

Their solution is to create a separate safe area within the platform that is sanitized for companies and clean enough for kids and families to enjoy videos. The rest of YouTube will be a free-for-all and would have far fewer ads which create money. This way advertisers would have much less to worry about since their ads will not be played prior to an inappropriate video.
