Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Zaria managed to sneak away from the party. Outside she chucked off her high heeled shoes and started to run. She ran as fast as could, feeling like if she slowed down, even a little bit, everything would come crashing down around her. She had to get to him. He would be the only one that would know what to do.
Zaria kept running past the point of exhaustion. Finally, after a lifetime of running the stables finally came into sight. There.
Zaria had been into equestrian sports ever since she was a young girl. It was the only thing she had to look forward as she grew up with a father that did nothing but neglect her in search of wealth. It was this equestrian love that brought her to Ryder and

They had grown up together and as time went on his love for her only increased. She had been his only friend when he found himself all alone in a strange new world where he could understand no one. She had been kind and compassionate to him from the very beginning and he would never forget it. It was inevitable that he would fall in love with her. He had no idea she felt the same way.
“Can… can… I please come in?” Zaria’s voice was shaky and Ryder could immediately tell something was wrong. He nodded quickly, moving out of the doorway.
“Of course, Zee, what’s wrong?” He asked, concerned, letting her inside and helping her climb the stairs to the loft where he sat her down on the bed, one of the only pieces of furniture he owned. She looked pale and was breathing raggedly. Ryder got up and offered her a cup of water, which she accepted eagerly. She gulped down her water and then took a few minutes to compose herself.
“Oh… Ryder… the worst thing ever just happened to me…” She hugged him tightly, burying her face into his chest. She clung to him desperately, never wanting to let go. Ryder gently rubbed her back, not knowing what else to do. He stroked her hair, gently, his chin laying on the top of her head as he held her in his

“So let’s say this is Zephyr running around terrorizing the town and supposedly kill two people what are we supposed to do?” Zay asked. “What are you getting at?” Todrick implied as he shifted through his parents drawers grabbing anything that he knew was silver. “Well I mean what if he’s gone?” Todrick stopped what he was doing and looked at Zay. He didn’t know what to say as it wasn’t something he had thought about. “I mean I know it’s a scary thought but come on Tod, he killed two people. Even if we somehow managed to get him back he did things that’ll get him put up.” Zay continued. “I see where you’re coming from but we have to at least try to save him. It’s the least i owe him for turning him into this and then abandoning him.”
“I couldn't joke about the person who'd saved me from facing absolute heartbreak at home, who fed my family boxes of sweets, who ran to me worried that I was hurt if I asked for him. A month ago, I had looked at the TV and seen a stiff, distant, boring person-someone I couldn't imagine anyone loving. While he wasn't anything close to the person I did love, he was worthy of having someone to love in his life.”

According to research 45.8 percent of young black children live in poverty, and black men are more likely to go to jail. However, when the presence of these facts enter everyday conversation they are often considered racist. One of the greatest challenges we have is to heal the divide of our nation and recognize the discrimination that still exists and grows today. Instead of ignoring the problems and facts, we have to ask tough questions. What is happening in our constitutionally equal society, that the color of your skin, or gender, can determine your life? People are scared of recognizing the evidence that America is still living with an overabundance of inequality because such a realization would be terrifyingly contradictory to the idea

Capital punishment is the lawful infliction of the death penalty, and it has been utilized to punish a variety of crimes over the years. The penalty of death is reserved for the most serious and heinous crimes. But some Americans would rather put people in prison for life instead, but how is that fair to the criminals who did not commit such a horrible crime? Even if the crime committed is much less than that of murders and rapist, they still get the same punishment. Criminals convicted of murder or rape should be executed because they are dangerous to the world and the human race. The world is a safer place without certain kinds of criminals in it. The death penalty should continue to be used, and used more often, because of its deterrent value, and for its role as a plea bargaining tactic. As well as in other cases, life sentences simply do not supply a harsh enough punishment for the act committed, and people affected by such terrible acts of evil should not have to think that the criminal is getting off easy with an all expenses paid for life sentence.
