Unlike other supernatural beings demons didn’t really have a leader so demon luke walked around Earth in his human form. Normally he would kill humans as then the rest of the years that the humans were supposed to live were given to him and this way he got live for centuries.
Luke’s human form was a handsome young, innocent boy which made it easier for him to get his victims. Usually, he asked them for help and told them to follow him. He’d lead them to an empty alley and then his small innocent beautiful smile would soon change into a devilish smirk. There would be this glint in his eye that would scare the living day lights out of anyone and this was the moment his victims would realise that something was wrong however it would be too late

He would get close to them lustfully smelling them and suddenly they would be on their knees writhing in pain. The gurgles and sounds of them choking on their own blood was better than any music he had heard and the remains of the body that were left smeared with blood were better than any piece of art he had ever seen in his life. This is what he would do and enjoy, well at least it used to be before he met you.
You were supposed to be just another victim, just another body tossed away after he was done with you. You were just supposed to be another name added to the list of people he had destroyed but you had managed to become so much more.
He had tapped you on the back so he could ask you to help him and so he could lead away but as soon as you turned around the air from his lungs disappeared. Smooth sentences became small stutters and broken words and his pale face became tinged with a shade of pink. His mind stopped working and he was left gaping like a

And instead of ripping you to pieces he wanted to get to know you from inside out. He wanted to know the way you danced and the songs you listened to when you wear on your own. He wanted to be one you’d run to when you were upset, he wanted to be the one you you’d spill all your secrets to. But that couldn’t happen.
He couldn’t even touch you without hurting you, how was he supposed to become a lover to you? How would he be able to be good to you when he was made to be evil?
And this was the moment when Luke started wishing he was human. He wouldn’t have centuries to live but he would have you. He would be able to hold you safely, he would make you happy instead of hurting you. But as much as he tried he couldn’t change who he really was.
So instead he took it as his duty to look after you. Just because he wouldn’t be able to be with you didn’t mean he couldn’t protect you. He made sure that on dark nights when there were other demons hanging around you would get home safe, he made sure that all the men and boys that he knew would hurt you kept away from you. He was ready to save you from every evil that ever existed in this world and even though he was supposed to be a monster who wrecked lives, for you he would become a guardian
After Mr. and Mrs. Morrison’s accident you see how the Morrison children start to shape themselves due to the circumstances. Before the death of the Morrison parents Luke was quite distant with his other siblings, he didn’t have many conversations with them, or he wouldn’t hold his youngest sister Bo. However after the accident Luke feels like it’s his responsibility to take care of his younger siblings. He did all he could to keep his siblings together and take care of them, although it was a long bumpy
Luke is broken, but is not yet ready to give up, as he escapes one last time. Luke runs away and escapes into an old church, launching into a soliloquy asking God for guidance. God’s answer comes in the form of desertion as the police encircle the church. Luke realizes that he’s a goner no matter what, so he approaches a window and shouts the famous line “what we have here is a failure to communicate.” In return for his final act of defiance he gets a fatal shot in the throat. Remaining defiant to the end is an expected characteristic of Luke’s courageous nature.
There is not a lot of information about the early Luke, some people say he was a slave, while others say he was a Greek instead of a Jew. Unfortunately, due to lack of early information we can’t be sure about that those theories. He is also said to be the brother of Titus, one of Paul’s disciples (Hindson,Towns, 2013). Luke was not only a writer, researcher, historian but also a doctor. He is said to have studied with Paul and that is how they came to know each other. Luke and Paul were just not traveling partners but also friends. Luke was with Paul until his death. He is mentioned three times in the new testament, all by Paul in his letters. Luke was the only one able to see Paul while he was in prison for health care needs. Not only did
He is considered their symbol of strength and shows the prisoners that they don’t have to live in fear. Like McMurphy, he constantly stands up against the guards and refuses to be broken. On multiple accounts, he escapes the prison grounds and is beaten and put into the box, and he never breaks. The other prisoners see this as a ray of hope that they won’t have to like under such harsh conditions. Then after his second attempted escape, Luke finally breaks, and this is when the other prisoners lose hope and respect for Luke.
How does fear and moral and emotions stop you from accomplishing your goals? Looking back at Cool Hand Luke situation, he really lets his behavior interfere with life. But, on the other hand he really doesn’t. Luke really just talks back to his boss and workers. He just doesnt know how to react to those emotions and how to let them out. Later in the movie, Lukes mom dies and so his partners gave him so much respect for that. They all left the room for him to grieve. Than the boss’s worker locked him into the box because his mom died for a reason I don’t understand but its probably cause he didn’t know to react and give him the affection that Luke needed. Days passed and they let Luke out. Thats when everything changed for Luke. He had looked things differently like he really took in what his mother told him before she had passed away. Thats when he began to really act out. He tried to leave the place. He
His rise in power and his desire for disobedience lacks one critical point that he fails to see throughout the film: a just objective. He breaks the norm in jail so simply fulfill his thirst to be different and not what he seems unjust and unfair. As a prisoner, he has lost most of his rights as an American citizen and he has to be punished as a result. His treatment seems fair; he received three meals, recreation time, visiting hours and care--there was no evidence of mistreatment or unfair conditions. This first two attempts to escape showed that he performed those actions just to demonstrate his ability to escape and hold on to his newfound power and glory. They do not, however, help him realize all the reasons to behave well and obey authority in jail in order to fully appreciate all the benefits of freedom once his term was over. Instead, it reassured the inmates that Luke has become the leader and he will continue to break the law as he pleased.
Luke Skywalker, a modern epic hero in George Lucas’ film Star Wars, portrays many of the same traits as those of an epic hero during the Anglo-Saxon era. He embarks on many quests and shows bravery as well as courage throughout his journey. Luke Skywalker is not your average hero; he is not the strongest nor is he the biggest, not by a long shot. He does however have a strong will power, and when he wants to get something done, he will not let anyone or anything get in his way. He may not look like the hero, but he has the heart and mind of one and does not let anyone tell him otherwise.
As I awaited my death I tried to figure out what I did that made him so mad, I was thinking about all of them and then as I saw him wind up to charge at me I figured out what I had done, I took some of the food that he was saving, which wasn’t even that good.
Heroes are seen all around us, in life, literature, and movies. Heroes like Superman, Captain America, and Thor are common, but have you ever thought of Luke Skywalker as an archetypal hero? In the film Cool Hand Luke, the director Stuart Rosenberg used many different techniques to make the main character, Luke Jackson ( Paul Newman) appear like a savior. This was a quick turn in the plot of the film considering the first scene that opens up with Luke intoxicated as he is carelessly removing the tops of parking meters. After this scene then the true theme of the movie begins to come into play. Soon after Luke removes the top of a parking meter, two police officers show up and arrest him. He ends up being put in a prison and sentenced to two years. As soon as Luke arrived at the prison he was looked down upon. This was until he showed everyone, prisoners and officers alike that he did not intend on allowing anyone to tell him what to do. The prisoners began to change their view of Luke as they looked up to him, but the officers grew more dislike for him because they
My protectors had departed and had broken the only link that held me to the world." (Shelly 132). When reading this quote we are shown that mankind has completely pushed away the creature, since the people who lived in the cottage rejected him he feels that he has lost all hope of connecting with mankind, once he learns that the people have completely left the village the creature goes into a state of anger which causes his dangerous escalate into a murderer. "Evil thenceforth became my good.” (Shelly 210). When the creature says this quote in the end of the book he is acting as if he is lucifer. In paradise lost lucifer says "farewell remorse all good to me is lost;/ evil, be thou my good." (Paradise lost IV.109-110). As the creature is reminiscing back on his life he realizes that he himself is more like lucifer than Adam, he is a fallen angel. And the creature continues to realize that even the most horrible people, including Lucifer the fallen angel, have people to be with and share thoughts. The creature has no one to love or care for him. Remembering all of the terrible things that he has done it causes the creature to think about his decisions and the decisions made by the society that ever so outwardly hated him. The creature is going to die with no one even though he tried to find companionship. Society did not accept the creature for who he is, therefor he was plunged into an icy
Luke’s goal was to challenge the establishment (to which he seemed to think was unjust) and make an example of hope for his fellow men in that they wouldn’t have to bow down to Dragline. Interestingly enough, after this fight, Dragline becomes acquainted with Luke and becomes very friendly.
Luke can be described as a man that is undoubtfully determined. After being sentenced to two years, it can be immediately seen he does not fit in with the other
One of the many appeals of Star Wars is its extensive cast of unique characters. Every character is written creatively; even the one-off minor characters have a special flair to them. The theme of the gospel of Luke talks about the journey of the life of Jesus, Christ. His death, burial, and resurrection. Moreover, his ministry, teachings and parables. As a historian, and physician, Luke was not only eloquent in his writing about Jesus; he also took interest in his early life. The Gospel of Luke also depict Jesus as compassionate, caring, and loving. Likewise, Luke not only put Jesus at the heart of the Jewish world during the first century, but also at the heart of the Roman world, where with the Christian gospel exploded.
