Since the social values changed a lot, same-sex relationships arose recently (O’Donnell, K. 1999:77). Lesbian and gay families were formed one of the diversity of structure in family. O’Donnell also suggested that homosexual families increased noticeably and there is a challenge directly to be threatened the traditional family life. Although the United Kingdom is a conservative country, it may not a barrier for lesbian or gay to be in a relationship (O’Donnell, K. 1999:84). In the United Kingdom, lone-parent family has become an important household constitute.
