Students nowadays became a market of tourism related to pop culture. They are fond of wanting what they see in the visual media like television, movies, billboards, etc. and because of that, pop culture tourism plays now an important role in helping those tourists like students

The scope of the paper was limited in identifying the forms of entertainment that commonly influence their choice of destination. It will specifically deal with the visual media present today. This paper will also tackle the common motivational factor present in pop culture that serves as driving force to the students to choose the destination that is featured in the entertainment.

DEFINITION OF TERMS

Pop Culture.Is the entirety of ideas, perspectives, attitudes, memes, images and other phenomena that are within the mainstream of a given culture. Heavily influenced by mass media.
Tourism.The practice of travelling for pleasure.
Travel.To go from one place to another, as on a trip or journey.
Motivator.A person or thing that makes someone enthusiastic about doing something.
Visual.Perceptible by the sense of sight; visible.
Mass.A large nonspecific group of individuals.
Media.A includes every broadcasting and narrowcasting medium such a TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, billboards, direct mail, telephone, fax and internet.
Entertainment.The action of providing or being provided with amusement or enjoyment.
Destination - the place to which one is going or directed; predetermined end of a journey or voyage.
Student – a person who is studying at a school or college.
