Ambroise Calfa (1830?–1906)

Calfa, Ambroise (käl-fä’). A French Armenian historian and miscellaneous writer; born in Constantinople, March 2, 1830?; died in 1906. A ‘Universal History’ (1851), and Armenian versions of French masterpieces, are typical of his talent and industry.
