Luigi Carrér (1801–1850)

Carrér, Luigi (kä-rār’). An Italian poet (1801–50); born at Venice. His first volume of ‘Poems’ contained sonnets, odes, and ballads (1832). He wrote a poetical account of the history of Venice, and published four volumes of ‘Prose and Poetry’ (1837).
