John Finley (1797–1866)

Finley, John. An American poet; born at Brownsburg, VA, Jan. 11, 1797; died in Richmond, IN, Dec. 23, 1866. He was one of the editors of the Richmond Palladium, 1831–34. His poems were collected in one volume, ‘The Hoosier’s Nest, and Other Poems’ (1865).
