Timothy Flint (1780–1840)

Flint, Timothy. An American clergyman and miscellaneous writer; born in North Reading, MA, July 11, 1780; died in Salem, MA, Aug. 16, 1840. His most important work is included in: ‘The Geography and History of the Mississippi Valley’; ‘Indian Wars in the West’; and in fiction, ‘Francis Berrian’; ‘George Mason’; and ‘The Shoshone Valley.’
