August Fournier (1850–1920)

Fournier, August (för-nyā’). A distinguished Austrian historian; born in Vienna, June 19, 1850. His principal writings are: ‘Historical Studies and Sketches’ (1885) and ‘Napoleon I.: a Biography’ (1886–89). He wrote also many biographies and sketches of special periods.
