Friedrich Friedrich (1828–1890)

Friedrich, Friedrich (frēd’riċh). A German novelist; born in Gross-Vahlberg, Little Brunswick, May 2, 1828; died in Plauen, near Dresden, April 13, 1890. He was the author of many pleasing romances; the best of them are: ‘War Scenes’ (1860); ‘The Minister’s Wife’ (1871); ‘Frank and Free’ (1872); and ‘The Honor of the House’ (1884).
