Norman Hapgood (1868–1937)

Hapgood, Norman. An American journalist of New York; born in Chicago, March 28, 1868; died in 1937. After 1913 he edited Harper’s Weekly. He published ‘Literary Statesmen and Others’; ‘Daniel Webster’; ‘Abraham Lincoln’; ‘The Stage in America’ (1901); ‘Industry and Progress’ (1911).
