Isaac Newton Arnold (1815–1884)

Arnold, Isaac Newton. An American lawyer, politician, and author; born at Hartwick, NY, Nov. 30, 1815; died at Chicago, April 24, 1884. He was a member of Congress from 1861 to 1865. His works are: ‘Life of Abraham Lincoln’ (1866); ‘Life of Benedict Arnold’ (1880); ‘Recollections of the Early Chicago and Illinois Bar’ (1880).
