George Washington Wright Houghton (1850–1891)

Houghton, George Washington Wright (hōton). An American journalist and writer of verse; born at Cambridge, MA, 1850; died in 1891. His home was in New York. He wrote: ‘Songs from Over the Sea’ (1874); ‘The Legend of St. Olaf’s Kirk’ (1881); ‘Niagara’ (1882); etc.
