Lloyd, John Uri. An American author, botanist, and chemist; born in West Bloomfield, NY, April 19, 1849; died in 1936. Among his works are: ‘The Chemistry of Medicine’; ‘Elixirs: Their History’; ‘The Right Side of the Car’; ‘Stringtown on the Pike’ (1900); ‘Warwick of the Knobs’ (1901); ‘Red Head’ (1903); ‘Scroggins’ (1904).
