Jane Ermina Locke (1805–1859)

Locke, Jane Ermina. An American writer of prose and verse; born in Worthington, MA, April 25, 1805; died in Ashburnham, MA, March 8, 1859. Her contributions appeared in the Ladies’ American Magazine. ‘Poems’ was published in 1842; ‘The Recalled, or Voices of the Past,’ 1855; a ‘Eulogy on the Death of Webster,’ in rhyme, 1855.
