Artemas Bowers Muzzey (1802–1892)

Muzzey, Artemas Bowers. An American clergyman and miscellaneous writer; born in Lexington, MA, Sept. 21, 1802; died at Cambridge, April 21, 1892. Included in his numerous publications are: ‘The Young Man’s Friend’ (1836); ‘Man, a Soul’ (1842); ‘The Higher Education’ (1871); ‘Personal Recollections of Rev. Dr. Channing’ (1874–75); ‘Immortality in the Light of Scripture and Science’ (1876); and ‘Education of Old Age’ (1884).
