Richard Heber Newton (1840–1914)

Newton, Richard Heber. An American clergyman and religious writer; born in Philadelphia, Oct. 31, 1840; died on Dec. 19, 1914. He was rector of All Souls Church, New York City. His published works include: ‘The Morals of Trade’ (1876); ‘Philistinism’ (1885); ‘Social Studies’ (1886); ‘Church and Creed’ (1891); ‘Parcifal’ (1904).
