Fitz-James O’Brien (1828–1862)

O’Brien, Fitz-James. An Irish-American poet and story-writer; born in Limerick, 1828; died on April 6, 1862. His writings comprise ‘The Diamond Lens and Other Stories,’ and many poems. His collected works appeared in 1881. (See Critical and Biographical Introduction).
